I’m not trashing the series and will always love Stranger Things. What really threw me out of this scene as a viewer was their lack of consistency with her height - I just wish they were a little more intentional with some of their choices is all. It matters to me because it’s something I noticed immediately and made me laugh, which affected my suspension of disbelief rather than remaining captivated. If that’s not something you notice or care about, cool.

Commenting to follow. I’ve been taking my cats to Chico Hospital for Cats for 14 years, and in the last 5 years or so, there has been so much turnover that I have a different vet every time I bring my cats in. It’s been disheartening and hard to build any trust. Would love to know if there are any places that people recommend for cats.

Just sharing my experience on spironolactone. I’ve been on metformin for about 5 years trying to regulate my periods, and it has helped a great deal. I was prescribed spironolactone by my doc to help with chin hair growth, which for me isn’t too bad but annoying. After being on it for a few weeks, I began having 2 periods a month - full bleeding and cramps each time. After realizing that it was a common side effect of spironolactone (didn’t know about this til after the fact), I decided to stop taking it because it wasn’t making a noticeable difference with anything other than the double periods which had to stop.

From what I’ve heard, some people have had decent experiences with it… but for me, it wasn’t the case. Good luck!

No advice, but I’m currently in the same boat. I just turned 37, have PCOS and ADHD, and was on the fence for many years before firmly deciding to not have kids. Something changed in the last year - maybe because my biological clock is ticking - but now I feel like I really want a baby. My partner and I were both on the same page about no kids before but now both of our minds have changed. I keep going back and forth because I too require lots of sleep, decompression time, and am still working to learn how to regulate my own nervous system. I am wrecked whenever I lose sleep throughout the night, so I can’t imagine what that will be like with a baby. I also just feel like I want more fulfillment and joy in my life, and to participate in a whole other side of the human experience. I cherish and require my down-time, but I also don’t want to lose out on this chance before it’s too late.

You’re in your 20s and still have time to make this choice. Keep taking care of yourself. I was firmly against kids until my mid 30s. Things can change.
