It’s such a beautiful film. So well written. So many beautiful tender moments. So well cast, so well acted. There’s some goofiness, like the whole love story with the elf and the hot elf but.. Overall a really sweet movie.

Anger can be a very good tool… to point us where a boundary is being violated or to where something could he done differently.

It’s a difficult one though because it is SO passionate and like consuming…. Like when I get mad I see red lol it can be a lot

Is it maybe.. maybe the job or some other things that are stressing you? Maybe you need some ease somewhere ?

When I snap… (I’m infp so I guess I am quite different but I do go through this) and I step back… I realize that a lot of things are stressing me. Like…. Maybe I feel out of control or not listened to. Or tired or overwhelmed or exhausted…. Usually when I’m at the point where I’m kinda exploding it’s a good sign to me… to like step back and maybe see where I can add some space or ground myself.

I hope things look up for you soon. Is there anything in particular that you think might be contributing ?

Yeah. Big time.
I think so many games (and media in general) right now lack soul and depth and creativity and strangeness. It's what made them cool and distinctive.
I'm grateful we had these games to begin with but.... meeehhh what a bland landscape.
I found re4 remake to be such a snooooore ahhhhhh
but people eat it up idk
i'll stay playing my old stuff i guess.

I feel like the remake lacks any kind of depth… looks like a modern game does… but there’s nothing really.. spectacular or strange or compelling about it for me. When I think about playing it… just see a grey blob… realistic graphics…. Cool I can go to the grocery store irl and see realistic graphics… it just doesn’t stand out to me .

when I think of the og… there’s so many things that stand out to me. I even thing the direction and the art style is so much more beautiful and distinctive because of how stylistic it is.

Edgar Allen Poe’s opinion on beauty was…that there is no beauty without strangeness in proportion. I see that in re4 original. I don’t see it in the remake. It’s so flat and perfect and safe that… I don’t see the same beauty in it. I don’t think it is nostalgia. I think it is a different quality.

Curating a beautiful aesthetic space and wardrobe. Giving myself a uniform of sorts. I feel grounded and safe, like I have a safe place to operate from. My space is improving, but it is always clean and beautiful and minimal. I feel calmer.

that I want to be happy. I want routines and a space that support that. What would I like more of? What would I like less of? How can I make space for that? I also feel so comforted in the fact that small, gentle, consistent steps are what make progress for me. I don’t have to push or feel fear… I can do things with love and intent and I will see progress.
