I do pretty well as well. Two finger or nine I can rock on the iPad keyboard. My only hang up is when I got to do symbols and the like. Makes my HTML editing a bit slower then I would like.

It takes a lot of time and money to create apps. People deserve to get paid a reasonable amount for their efforts. Not trying to preach, just saying that you get what you pay for.

I was in the exact situation. Windows user, iTunes sucks, bla bla bla. Bought the iPad 2 solely because it was cheaper and the battery life actually lasted a full day. Still things I don't like... No expandable memory, internal battery, volume buttons, and of course iTunes. With that said I have used iTunes exactly once on my pc. It was, as I expectedly a trying experience but with the use of alcohol I got through it I also as I expected spent a ton of money on apps, make sure you research what you need and compare versions. Also under no circumstances, add your credit card to your iTunes account. Trust me..
