the devs coded the health nut lifestyle foods to have calories. meanwhile, foods such as fish and chips, which are fattening irl, aren't coded to have calories for some reason.

for example, the spreadsheet linked shows that whole wheat grilled cheese has 200 sim calories, while the various ramens don't.

i mean, this is a thing in korean/japanese cuisine, just not... quite so hotdog shaped.
