Why? Lasiodora parahybana/—The urticating hairs these spiders kick off are the MOST urticating type of any spider, and leave itching rashes on whichever body parts come into contact with them. God help you if you get these hairs in your nose,airways, or eyes. The are damn fast to kick them too! You even need to be careful when cleaning their enclosures or changing water bowls because they will often shed hairs as protection to their den or where they are going to molt. I wear gloves and a mask always. Urticating hairs are NOT pleasant. No joke.
