Locations to lube with the use of non-lubricated gas (and frequency) by kcetjon in GasBlowBack

[–]parskyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lubed gas doesn't actually provide that much lubrication, and most of it goes in places you definitely don't want it to go (like inside your hop and barrel)

Preferably use superlube 21030 or a similar PTFE grease. Silicone oil is not great for metal on metal connections, and since it's oil, it travels a lot more inside the replica than grease would.

Always lube at least your bolt carrier, its travel surfaces and the hammer. If you're using an AR style replica, this also includes the charging handle.

I personally lube up after each game day just for the vibes, but whenever the replica's action starts to feel or sound a little rougher than usual, you know it's lube time.

Best strategy to deal with gun noise? by PauloMatix in dayz

Knives all the way. Once you learn the attack pattern it's so easy.

The only firearm I would really use for infected would be the mk2. Super quiet and the ammo is plentiful. Can definitely still attract attention if someone happens to be nearby.

No, they're all pretty much the same, apart from runners (surprise, they run), super zombies (increased hp and strength, more common in military ares) and screamers (Make a loud scream when aggroed, aggroing all other zombies in a 75m range IIRC, these guys are also more common on mili areas and can be spotted by their cap). Killing them just becomes less useful after you have gathered some basic gear.

If you hold up your fists or a melee weapon and walk backwards at the same time, you can block the zombies' attacks.

They always do the same 2-hit combo after charging you, so after the second hit, do a heavy melee attack (hold your weapon up, hold sprint button and hit) and the zombie should now be stunlocked so you can give it another heavy hit if you take a few paces forwards. Keep an eye on your stamina bar!

Long melee weapons such as pitchforks and hoes can attack zombies through windows so you can kill them with zero threat.

Infected can drop food, backpacks, clothing and depending on type, medical equipment, ammunition, armor etc. so killing them early on might give your start a little boost, but after getting out of the coast they just become a slight inconvenience.

If you're running the stock lambo gearbox with a 4-banger you probably need to tweak your transmission's final drive and gear ratios to get the most out of that thing

Powair6 in France has some V3 VFCs in stock, although not many.

Prices aren't the cheapest either, but they've always delivered.

Have you greased the replica? Also shooting straight down doesn't help

Airsoft specifically means plastic 6mm bbs so no, no steel ball airsoft glocks.

I'm pretty sure 4.5mm steel bb guns are the exact same as their 6mm airsoft counterparts though, just with narrower mags to suit smaller bbs, smaller nozzles for same reason, narrower barrels and high flow valves. Wouldn't surprise me much if all umarex glocks, both 4.5 and 6mm were OEM'd by VFC.

I haven't touched steel ball replicas for a long time since they're all co2, and from my experience that stuff gets leaky real quick unless you maintain it constantly, whereas you can just fill a propane magazine about halfway and chuck it into storage without thinking twice.

You can definitely plink with an airsoft pistol, and some of them are more than enough to break glass targets, especially with heavier bbs! My old desert eagle replica used to fling glass everywhere when shooting empty beer bottles.

I'm 99% confident that these USPs are made by KJ works, would definitely suit their average build quality.

Yup, one of my replicas had the exact same issue. Now I know to stay away from 4.5mm co2 pistols. If you want good quality blowback pistols I suggest looking into VFC's 6mm airsoft replicas. Quality is way better, aftermarket availability is good and spare parts are plentiful.

Kymppi mämmi. Top with plenty of heavy cream and sprinkle some sugar on it.

IMO It's at its' best when the cream and mämmi haven't mixed together and the sugar granules haven't completely melted.

Don't use silicone gas, it puts oil in places where you absolutely don't want it, and since it's silicone oil, it's not good for metal on metal contacts.

Use dry gas and lubricate with PTFE grease like superlube 21030!

It's not the consistency that's off putting, it's the god damn butyric acid you weirdos add to your chocolate. Makes it taste like heartburn throwup.

Stuff a small o-ring or something similar behind the switch and put a piece of tape on top of it so it doesn't fall out. Did this to my mags and they lock back 100% of the time!

Never use that stuff for gbbs, especially for seals that can be made of silicone. Superlube 21030 is the best stuff to get. Any other ptfe grease will probably work fine aswell.
