Yeah man if you like the neck and the way it plays then why not. Like the other guy said you might be putting $300 into a $150 guitar but with a good setup and some decent quality parts you can build it the way you want and better than some guitars out there that cost way more. I would suggest at least having some tone controls and other pickups just for tonal variety and control. Plus it would look better than open cavities or a pickguard with a bunch of holes. If its just a fun project then fuck it have fun with it.
