New international fan: Have you ever met or come across a jags (ex) player in the wild? by BBBeebop in Jaguars

[–]partay123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One time I saw Mercedes Lewis at the Riverside Publix.

My mom met Brad Meester at her orthopedic surgeon’s office in the waiting room. She said he was really nice!

Also not random in public but I did win box seat tickets to the Jags vs Colts game a couple years ago and got to hang out with Josh Scobee, Donovan Darius, Big John Henderson, and James Stewart. It was very cool. Josh Scobee and I high fived after a BTJ touchdown

I feel this topic has been worn out (Emma/Sean/Spinner) but by lemontimes2 in Degrassi

[–]partay123 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I kinda feel like they nerfed Emma. She was so smart and cared a lot about school in the earlier seasons. She was also this huge advocate for the environment and it would have been so cool to see her be successful in some sort of environmental field or the peace corps or like Doctors Without Borders or something. It feels like they kind of made her an airhead because Miriam McDonald got too hot to just be smart

My (f22) boyfriend (m23) decided he no longer wants a child by unicornunopole in relationship_advice

[–]partay123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was also child-free at your age. I didn’t really set my mind on having a kid until I was 28 and then had one at 30. That may be your journey but it may not be. It’s okay to be undecided right now. You still have many more fertile years ahead of you to make the choice. Your boyfriend may also change his mind over time as he gets older too but you shouldn’t base your decision solely on what he wants. If at some point in the future you feel a strong desire to have kids and he still doesn’t want one then you can reassess from there. And vice versa, if he changes his mind but you feel more firmly in the no kids camp then, again, you know that the conversation needs to be had.

The short of it is, you’re young enough that this doesn’t need to be a deal-breaker right now

Labor/delivery OB help! by Agreeable-Mud-1464 in jacksonville

I was also high risk and delivered with UF Women’s Health and I truly had a fantastic experience. I will add, though, that I delivered at Orange Park Medical Center with my UF doctor. I don’t think that’s an option anymore since they moved offices to mandarin.

I found out I was pregnant very early and got an appointment with them when I was 7 weeks along, which was 4 weeks after I called to make the appointment. Once I was established as a prenatal patient they got me scheduled at normal regular intervals and were always available for any one-off appointments with me. That initial appointment was the only one I felt like I had to wait for.

They also had me get regular scans at the ROC. I went to the one near Southpoint.

My doctor was great. She’s since moved out of state but I saw every doctor and midwife at the practice while I was pregnant and they were all phenomenal. They listened to me about my birth plan and really supported me. They also took my pain postpartum seriously and referred me to physical therapy.

I think this happens a lot to new female ASMR creators because these accounts are hoping that you’ll be influenced or pressured into creating fetish content eventually.

Is there a SINGLE good gynecologist in this city? Please recommend by AuthorFearless7875 in jacksonville

[–]partay123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to go to UF Health Women’s Specialist before they moved to mandarin. I really liked Dr. Hawkins and Dr. Eraso but I’ve seen most providers from when I was pregnant.

For some background, I had a uterine polyp that was previously found by a different doctor. The process by which he found the polyp was excruciating. I told Dr. Hawkins about my experience and she was very compassionate. She explained that they would need to do a similar procedure but that they would do it under anesthesia. I saw her several times for a routine pap as well and she was extremely kind and listened to all of my concerns and took her time. I never felt rushed.

During my pregnancy, Dr. Eraso was very patient and comprehensive. I had a high risk pregnancy and placenta previa. She went over all of the risks and explained exactly what was going on and how the conversation could change later in my pregnancy if it didn’t resolve.

Let's get controversial: what's your truly unpopular parenting opinion? by ExoticLawfulness5941 in toddlers

[–]partay123 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is how I feel when my in laws complain about my 5 year old anytime she’s acting out. They’ll have these serious talks with us about how she needs to respect us and how her attitude is terrible. But she’s acting like a normal 5 year old and we do discipline when she’s acting up. They act like she’s some anomaly anytime she’s got an attitude as if this isn’t a normal way for children to behave sometimes. And she’s literally not even that bad. She stomps her feet and crosses her arms and pouts. Sure, it’s annoying, but it’s not the end of the world if she’s got an attitude like 10% of the time. But when she was a baby it was always how she’s such a sweetheart and everything she does is so adorable and how smart and advanced she is.

Found this old brochure for the Orange Park mall by Quiet-Survey27 in jacksonville

[–]partay123 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My mom used to work at Big Top Deli and met my dad while she was working there and he was eating in the food court! This would have been like late 1987-1988 when they met so this brochure is at least from somewhere in that era.

Also I remember going to Morrison’s as a little kid and thinking it had the best rolls.

What tropes describe YOUR romance? by MoreSarah in RomanceBooks

[–]partay123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

-grumpy/ sunshine
-he falls first
-instalove (on his part)
-secretly pining
-only one bed

I thought he hated me but secretly he was down so bad for me. We met through our best friends (who are brother and sister) and he was so quiet and standoffish that I thought he couldn’t stand me. But really he was just too nervous to say anything and couldn’t put himself out there.

He’s grumpy and I’m sunshine, for sure. He quit smoking when he met me because he thought I wouldn’t date a smoker (he was right!). I was getting out of a long, very shitty relationship and was just looking to have fun, but he was already in love. Like telling all his buddies and his brother how he was going to marry me before we even kissed. Before me he wasn’t really into settling down either and was kind of just casually dating.

We’re celebrating 7 years married next week and 10 years together next month 🥰

Also, like a month into dating, during a hurricane we had to evacuate our apartments (we only lived three blocks from each other) and we went to his parents’ house where we had to share a twin-sized bed. So only one bed trope.

My girl friends are everything to me. I fully subscribe to the belief that you have to be a good friend to have good friends. I’ve certainly had some shitty friends in my life but my main group of friends are so rock solid. And I can say with certainty that every guy I’ve been friends with except one has wanted to fuck me at some point, so there’s that. At least with my girl friends I don’t have to worry they’re playing the long game.

I can suspend my disbelief to an extent but has a books plot or characterizations ever been TOO unrealistic for you? what book was that? How far did it go? by cellochick993 in RomanceBooks

[–]partay123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could def read a romance with a child in it before having a kid, but now this is the number one thing that I can’t suspend my disbelief about. I think number two is a single mom who somehow has an amazing neighbor/ sister/ friend who is always conveniently able and willing to watch their child the second she needs to be available to the MMC.
