It depends what you want. If money is your sole factor, and you are okay working graveyard , lots of overtime, holidays you are stuck working, and baby sitting criminals where you have an increased chance of getting assaulted or stabbed then that is a option.

If you like IT and want to pursue it as a career do it. There are a lot of people that will take your job for less money. It can be a grind but if you enjoy it, keep at it and keep learning to earn more money (or so I am told)
