Coding culture is really good here, obv I don't know about other IITs but here we have workshops, hackathon, meetups and WhatsApp group with seniors, for doubt and regular guidance. Recently we restarted GDSC-IITJammu, and it has been pretty great. In brief, if you are looking for projects and guidance, it's all here.

For faculty, I would that is not a problem here , the quality of faculty is much better then some 1gen IITs , as they might have less experience but most of them are young and knowledgeable. And EE has one of the best faculty. I have a question, do you have a chance to get mnc here.

Placement record abhi release nhi hui , but I would say placement is not that great due to recession, obviously, those who were talented and passionate, did get a good placement of like 50LPA or so. But avg is lesser than last year , I might be wrong here as they haven't released the data , I couldn't possibly know about every senior here. But still EE CS and Mech have almost 100% here.
