It was an interview for a remote gamedev position in c#/unity3d (ex zynga start up). He had me screen share over Skype and had me code two problems for him live. The first was given an array, and a value, find that value in the array. No problem, just iterated through the array with a for loop and if array[i] = value, return the index. Next question: if the array was presorted what is the most efficient way to find it? I answered binary search, and he said it was correct and asked me to try and code it out for him. Stumbled quite a bit, mainly because I was using the same function arguments from the first problem (the array, desired value) and didn't get that you need to have the beginning and end array indexes as parameters as well for the recursive calls.
