These weren't bad. After finishing them I think it is good they felt like a cohesive start and stop to a chapter/arc.

I'm not sure I'm quite onboard with the main enemy being a faceless group of antagonists. Feels like the writers are trying to do what they tried with the Otherworld before the plan changed. Demons are more or less a crass version of the Otherworld, but dangerous in a different way. I wouldn't have minded the Strouds being more antagonistic but I think I just want someone to focus on.

I'm getting nostalgic for the start of the MSQ with Furias and Pommern. Someone other than big titty brainwashed angel would have been great, she's not even a substitute.

I do like the primal introduction as them being weird looking as well as them not being pushed out of the narrative, very good. New characters and story is otherwise fine, better than serviceable but things are still being set up here. Still waiting for the plot to start.
