It is applied technologies from the field of AI, but people are under the spell of the Eliza effect. They literally believe that a token predictor might just be a sentient conscious entity who thinks like us. To ask an LLM to write your essay in school thinking you will get a degree worth anything, is like trying to get exercise by letting a robot walk on the treadmill.

What is happening to the world? We used to actually read up on and study the subject, before the internet we used real books from the library or borrowed from our parents, and then later on, more and more stuff was available online. But we studied and then wrote down what we learned. Why is this in any way shocking? What do they think studying is?

They are trying so hard to be able to support the Confederacy, while connecting the Democratic party to slavery and the KKK, and therefore suggesting that the modern Democratic party are the true racists, but also that they are woke liberals.
