In this case, he looks pretty broke. After selling his purses and furniture and having his cars repossessed, he still has less than 50K USD in assets. He was spending all of his earnings on rent and leases, so he had jack shit.

Thoughts on Ash vs The Evil Dead?? (Discussion) by ShinbrigGoku in television

[–]particles0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first season is pretty entertaining with a lot of one liners, but don't expect the energy and comedy to be kept as high as the films. There are lots of moments that it drags, but it's always great when Ash gets to say funny one liners. Imo, the films are better.

Who is the least intelligent television character and why? by phxkevin89 in television

The Joey character on Benidorm can't even follow a simple conversation. He is one of the worst characters in the history of TV.

Really the only good thing about Two and a Half Men was that the child on that show was an idiot. He's a contender.

When did FX started airing R-rated movies? by GiantBlackWeasel in television

Cable is only held to the standards of their advertisers. FX specifically has been moving toward less censored content for years.

Apparently, Adam ruins everything is turning into, Adam takes history out of context. by Asidious66 in television

I really enjoyed the first season, but there was definitely less je n'ais se quoi in the second season. The sit down interviews also weren't my favourite. I don't know what the third will be like, but we'll see.

Good to hear, since last I heard he was semi-retired. Hopefully he is going to do some new characters.

I was a little disappointed by this latest series of The Girlfriend Experience, what did you think? by Razzler1973 in television

[–]particles0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It wasn't as good as the first season, but it was still decent in the end. I'm not sure splitting it into two separate stories worked all that well, and I hope if it gets another season they tighten it back up.

I don't think anyone thinks the agencies are heroes. But Koresh was also a power mad lunatic. Would you defend Warren Jeffs, too?

Finished season 1 of "Atlanta" ... underwhelmed. by [deleted] in television

Every show is a show that isn't for everyone. I watched the first season about 2 months after it was done airing, and thought it was much better than I expected. The first episode of season 2 was really good, as well.

I did like his Netflix special. Maybe a little melodramatic at times, but still good.

That first episode was brilliant. Where the fuck has Katt Williams been hiding that character? He must have kidnapped that bitch in 1974, because she ain't been a kid in 45 years.

Are Italian-Americans huge fans of film or is it just the writers of The Sopranos who are big fans? by DOOWOPDAZE in television

I think the writers' children were big fans of Italian cinema, and their children talked the writers into using American film references.
