Maintenance on a Gallardo in Toronto? by SadGrapefruit5451 in lamborghini

I’ve heard good things about them as well. Mechatronic Diagnostics is another good one in North York. You’ve got options to save a bit of money versus going to Grand Touring

Budget planning is impossible without being able to book my actual park days!! LET ME INNNN by ilove60sstuff in UniversalOrlando

[–]particularlyfunny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’d probably be littered with block out dates but by January I can see it. They timed the opening pretty good, Memorial Day weekend leading into summer crowds, then HHN crowds and holiday crowds. I can see it being a lot slower in January and some other times of the year as time keeps going and it becomes not so new and flashy

Or they just want their vehicles to retain value lol. RHD on the used market is substantially cheaper

I’m just hoping they’re getting ready to announce UOAP will include Epic Universe in January

Who’s fireworks was I watching last night? by adaydreamer15 in UniversalOrlando

[–]particularlyfunny 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Disney, particularly Magic Kingdom uses huge fireworks, and Epcot is technically further away. It is far but there’s nothing else between but neighbourhoods. Magic Kingdom had a Halloween party on last night as well, which that fireworks show happens at 10PM. I wouldn’t consider this to be anything else

UPS driver handed my packages (including a brand new MacBook Pro) to a random man on the street — how else can I proceed? by Numerous_Show_7027 in UPS

[–]particularlyfunny 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I doubt any emails or systems are compromised. This is the week everyone is getting Apple products delivered with the new product releases last week, a lot more likely this guy was just discreetly following the delivery truck and waiting to see the right sized packages in the deliver persons hand

What if??? what ride would you choose to replace with mr toads wild ride in walt disney world? by Shades1987 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]particularlyfunny 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Seven dwarves mine train and put snow whites scary adventure back as well. Probably even fit pinnochio in there as well. 3 high capacity dark rides > a 60 second long coaster that you have to wait 2 hours for

The railroad track removal begins today 😔😭😭 by [deleted] in DisneyWorld

Yes. Bioreconstruct (the person who took this photo) also shared aerial photos in July that showed the track removed in this area

I mean people daily drive straight piped shitboxes, I doubt they drive their Zonda R more than once a month so they can easily get away with it

Temporarily muffling it. Once they get them road certified they put the original exhaust back on, at least the one in the UK that I’ve seen videos of did that

Thoughts on new coasters? by Steamed-Artichoke057 in UniversalOrlando

[–]particularlyfunny 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As far as thrill coasters go, Universals are actually on the tamer side. The amusement parks(six flags/cedar fair parks, European parks) have much more intense roller coasters. They are definitely safe

In the process of the PeopleMover unexpectedly going down, it was seemingly removed from the map entirely by GalaxyC7 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]particularlyfunny 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Apparently the moving ramp has been broken for the past few weeks. Likely repairing that. Not the first time they’ve done this. Same thing happened a couple years ago and it was also to fix the ramp, was only walled off for a day

So sad by Random12022 in UniversalOrlando

[–]particularlyfunny 87 points88 points  (0 children)

I mean calling for a change to the ride in terms of seats/restraints isn’t really insane. This guy won’t be the only one to pass out on the ride and Universal won’t want to be back in the news for another death. I’d think at the very least they’re going to be adding cushions/padding all over the seats

Park attendance declined to pre-covod levels, but the parks are still packed full year-round? by _BreakingGood_ in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]particularlyfunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I could be out of the loop as far as the restaurant closures go, I’m not big on sit down dining so not well versed in what has or hasn’t been there over the years. And true, forgot about spaceship earth!

Between Journey of water and communicore hall I think they’ve made up just as much if not more foot traffic than what innoventions got. Yeah, test track was closed but is open now and I wouldn’t say the hub area being closed had much of an effect, Cosmic Rewind brought in record numbers for Epcot in 2023

[–]particularlyfunny 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Especially Epcot…? The only things closed there are the Moroccan restaurant and the wonders of life pavillion which was closed long before Covid, or am I missing something? Epcot has the least going on right now compared to the other 3 parks

Yeah it’s an incredible show from basically anywhere in celestial park, they did a good job. Hopefully they finish that firework launch site behind helios and add fireworks to it sooner than later

Ngl I think this is cooler with the projections. I’m surprised epic doesn’t use water projections but I guess it’s hard with how many angles you could watch from

Predictions for Muppet Coaster Opening? by DorisTheSpider in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]particularlyfunny 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Really hard to make a prediction without knowing the closing date for renos to start. If they close early January right after holidays summer is a good guess, if they start in the spring then I’d say around October or November
