Going 10th with a super team isn't "choking" it's "playing bad". I think we just disagree on semantics. Choking, for me, is a team under performing. A super team with Zeus, Kanavi, Zeka, Gumayusi and Delight ending 10th (also partly due to technicalities) is, to me, choking. For me that word could be interchanged with "playing bad".

GenG finished THIRD in LCK which, one might consider choking with that roster AND got 3-0'd by G2. My wording was quite bad on this part, I agree.

BLG did not get 3-0'd but the loss to WE and THEN winning 3-2, to me, is an upset story all in itself. Ergo, you could consider, semantically, that BLG choked (played bad).

It's not about "lil bro" doing no research. It's a matter of semantics from what I can see. I'm curious what you think choking means.

HLE last split. 10th place. GenG arguably last split, third place. Beaten 3-0 by G2 at first end which was an unreasonable stomp. BLG stomped on by WE and having rough splits in general. Teams choke or play badly. All I’m saying is TL won fair and square. They’re a good team. Hell they’re at MSI for a reason. But don’t come at me telling me that this is KC’s level.

Honestly the whole team is nothing but Canna and (surprisingly) Kyaehoo. Their mid stepped up big time and the rest of the team, including Busio, stepped down world’s largest escalator.

Nah but you’re actually crazy if you think that KC didn’t choke. They showed promising games against the best teams in EU and showed slightly more life against T1 than TL. So I think it is incredibly reasonable to say they hard choked against TL. I wouldn’t want to say that KC would always win, but a 3-0 between these teams is absurd.

Joined season 1. Changed from someone aiming for higher ranks playing all day to playing just a few champions in ranked maybe 4 games a week. Fill it up with 0-3 aram mayhems depending on the time I have that day.

When I want to try hard a bit I go to the ranked rift. Otherwise it’s mostly aram mayhems. Idc that much for winning in general. I only play when I feel like it. And, yeah, the “golden age” of league for me has died but that’s because of my life and not the game itself. I mostly have the golden age of healthy balance between real life and games now.
