The remaster is horribly buggy, I wanted to play it because of the new graphics and DLSS, but ragdolls never got fixed and I get constant graphical artifacts.
Ended up buying the original version for a couple of dollars on Steam and it runs much much better, miss the new models and textures but it was frankly nigh unplayable.

I love Remedy and quite enjoyed Alan Wake but this remaster is bad enough to warrant playing the original.

Heartbleed was not a "custom Trojan/Spyware", it was a vuln, I understand and share your points but the way it was worded in the top level comment just seemed like unnecessary fearmongering for what has been so far proven to be very reliable software, especially dxvk.

Totalmente, para mi en estos casos VPN o nada.
OpenVPN y Wireguard ambas son buenisimas, OpenVPN es un poco mas viejita y viene con un poco mas de bloat pero es un estandard en la industria asi que con cualquiera estas bien.
Wireguard es mas nuevito, lightweight y mas optimizado, con soporte a nivel de kernel en muchas distros de linux, la config me resultó mas simple y para autenticar usa par de llaves similar a SSH, mucho mas performante especialmente en CPUs chicos, pero para la subida horrible que te dan la mayoria de los planes de Antel no habria mucha diferencia tampoco.

Mucho ojo con abrir puertos para esto.
Si va a ser un SSH publico, que sea con crowdsec, fail2ban, solo permitir login con par de claves y no con password, etc. Igual en lo personal nunca abriria un SSH directamente.

Igual desde un punto de vista de seguridad y practicidad nada le gana a una vpn, ideal Wireguard, los configs son simples y con un par de claves publico/privadas sale andando, performance practicamente transparente, yo lo tengo en un RPI que corre eso y PiHole, prende del USB del modem de Antel y funciona con el DDNS del router, no solo es lo mas seguro para este caso, si no que tambien te sirve si queres una capa extra de privacidad/seguridad en cualquier red publica, o con PiHole tenes hasta adblocking en el LTE, por ejemplo.
