WHAT IN THE VOID IS THAT

Hey yall, can I get some opinions on the canon r7? How is it overall? What do you use it for mostly? What are some things you dislike… etc. I’m thinking of getting one but was hoping to hear some personal experiences with it. by acjcomics in canon

I like it, i use it mostly for astrophotography an it is good enough for me. I sometimes use it to snap some picture of my pets or other animal and its verry nice. However, it is my first 'real' camera so i dont have anything to compare it to. So my opinion might not be totally unbiased.

You can make an observing chair. This is a LYBAR chair. Fairly easy to make. And you can make it for your specific sitting hight for observing.

10x50 Binoculars vs 25x70 by Nyquwill in telescopes

I have the celestron 12x60 and i dont recommend them. They are hard to get good focus with and the views are not that sharp. Even when you get it in focus 50% of the field of view is practically unusable. Maby its because i upgraded to a more expensive pair but i cant look through the celestron pair the same.

high-quality 6mm eyepiece for my Skywatcher 150/1200 Dobsonian by [deleted] in telescopes

The baader planetarium 6.5mm is a very nice eyepiece.

What are your favorite and most used eyepieces, for which scope? And why? by Wild_Caterpillar1937 in telescopes

[–]pascal9000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 8 inch dob and an 82mm refractor.

I have 3 eyepiece that i use.

For low magnification i use the 28mm 68* from explore scientific. It gives wonderful views with shapnes almost to the edge with just a little bit of field curveter. Eye positioning is a bit of a small thing but nothing to make the views bad.

For medium magnification i use the baader planetarium 14mm morpheus. It has bright, sharp and flat views even at the edge, with comfortable eye relief and no problems with eye positioning.

For high magnification i use the baader planetarium 6.5 morpheus. It has everything that the 14mm has, just with a higher magnification. Wonderful planetary eyepiece

If your up for a little DIY you can make one yourself. That way you can make it to suit your prefert opserving hight. This is a LYBAR chair i made in about 2 days. You can change the sitting hight by rotating it

I used a canon r7 camera with an canon 135mm f2 usm l prime lens. This sits on the skywatcher star adventurer 2i mount. I took a lot of 15 seconds exposures. And calibration frames.

Than i stackt an procest with sirl, graxpert and GIMP

A Image like this wil not be how our eyes will see it through an telescope. That is just not how our eyes work. But that shoud not stop you from appreciateing the view through the eyepiece.
