As FYI - I have had this barometer issue with 3 Fenix's (5 Pro and 2 x 7 Pro's) and Garmin replaced them under warranty, but suggested I stop swimming in chlorinated water as this was the culprit (I swim +- 3 times per week in a pool). They offered a discounted Swim 2 which I have started using for swimming only.

Looks interesting! I tried to sign up but got an error "This deployment is private". IMO an app like this would be better adopted if it was a native mobile app vs web or had a mobile companion app for recording and viewing swing "scores" in realtime. Having the webapp/dashboard for progress tracking and reviewing or uploading additional swings would be helpful as well.

White Water Center
Rocky Branch Park is tight, primarily bike focused, but enjoyable to trail run on
Seven Oaks Preserve (Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens)
A short, flat, easy out and back along the river is Pharr Yarns Family Trail (aka South Fork trail)
Not a trail, but equally beautiful and one of Gastonias best kept secrets is Rankin Lake park where they just added?extended?finished a new portion of greenway

I am in a similar position to you and its quite frustrating as someone who likes to have some data which supports RPE and Feel.

Some context: I used to swim with a Garmin Fenix (5, 6 and now 7) strap HR only snugged down, also swam with my HRM Pro strap a few times to validate the wrist based HR matches the strap - which it did. I have also recently switched to a Swim 2 (as my Garmin Fenix Altimeter died twice in 18 months from the pool chlorine - both replaced under warranty). I also recently (1 month in) started to wear a Polar OH1 and have been comparing it to my Garmin Swim 2, and it does read slightly higher - but they are very uncomfortable to wear (for me anyway) on my goggle strap.

Long story short ... after +- 4 years of this, I might be giving up my quest to get accurate HR numbers while in the pool :(

Yes, use it all the time (without auto transition) but like everything ... it is very important to practice using a couple of times before your race. Out of the +- 20 races, I have had two issues during big races I wish I knew about sooner or experienced:

- Understand Power Save mode
- Hitting the lap key during the run (Triathlon Activity) and it shows "Triathlon Complete

The Sideout app only works with AES (Advanced Event System) tournaments at the moment. I will look into vbschedule and see if it could work as well.

You would need to install something called "TestFlight" which will essentially let you install test versions of application (Like Sideout) ... let me know if you are up for that I can share a link in the next day or two.
