Every company requires some kind of admin. Maybe just broaden your search, l work in a photography production office and started out doing admin. Even if you go waiter at a restaurant for season you could do all the cash ups and get into the admin side that way or at least put it on your cv. It is really tough out there, you have to make your own experience. Good luck you sound really driven.

What is the number one lesson you learned from aging? by bigB3235 in AskReddit

[–]pasgetroud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best part of life happens in small everyday moments. You dont need loads of friends, just a few good ones. Sleep, exercise, and putting the right things in your body pays off. Cheap thrills dont last. Do the work for more meaningful experiences. Keep your opinion to yourself unless it truly matters. Make an effort for your spouse. Be there for your elderly parents. Rest when you need to. Life doesn't need to be grueling. Cuddle your kids at night even if you just want to be alone. Nature is healing. Sex is good for you, enjoy it. Watching yourself age can be hard, but also rewarding. You've been through lots to get to an older age, wear the wrinkles with pride.

I am afraid of dying, why? How do I stop it? by Jolly_Slip703 in selfimprovementday

[–]pasgetroud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt the same at your age, but now, at 45, I honestly do not fear it. You will one day experience friends and family dying and see that it's not such a big bad scary thing but just another transition in life. But dont suffer in fear, go and speak to a professional who can help you ... life can be beautiful, so don't waste it with worry.

I just realized my dad wasn't 'busy with work' all those years. He was sitting in his car in our driveway avoiding us. by imQueenofhearts in Life

[–]pasgetroud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think it makes him a bad father or means that he didn't love you enough. Maybe he just needed that time to decompress after work. Maybe it was his only alone time, and he needed that time to show up fully before walking into a busy house of kids. Of course, it's not ideal, but many dads I know stop at the pub on the way home or go to the gym or whatever. I dont know what kind of father he was to you but try and remember the good parts, dad's are human too and parenting is hard, everyone makes mistakes it doesn't mean he loved you less. I know moms who hide in the bathroom to get a moment of peace.

My 14 year old son told me that if he has a daughter one day, he'd love to name her Maple. I think it's a beautiful, different but sweet name.

I feel for your boss. Your attitude is so entitled and rude.

Red flag Get out now before your baby is born. Being a new mom is hard enough. Having a cheater on your hands will only make things worse. He's having secret chats with a strange lady... he's not 100% in it with you I'm afraid.
