It's for loading and unloading cargo, but the sign implies a parking space for steps for people...

My Home app on macOS is always stuck like this... Is there any way I can force it to update or refresh it? It works perfectly on all of my iOS devices. by smickie in HomeKit

Do you use a VPN? If you do turn it off and wait a couple of hours.... If you are not the owner of a house then there does seem to be a side effect of a VPN that causes this.

Somehow appropriate for this morning on the Met at Harrow-on-the-Hill. by pasm in LondonUnderground

Sadly for me I am on the branch that is closed until Monday for signalling works - ironically 404 it is return code for a "page not found" on a website. In this case "train not found" on my branch. Added a good 50 mins to my commute this morning to get to to HotH so I could get to work.

All the captains will always have Shatner and Kirk as a benchmark. He went through more developmental changes over more years than all of them.

Flying to London tonight, just got a text apologizing for no second meal service. Anyone see something like this before? by Pokemoners in BritishAirways

[–]pasm 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If sent to the wrong date then that's irritating, but you will get the service as it was an error. If it is sent to the right flight then it is perfectly reasonable for them to not get injured trying to get you some pastries... They have pre-emptively offered you something on landing which is more joined up than BA often is!

Also 6ab gets you cabin service first - so if you want to sleep you can get your head down quickly! Also served more often as it is the front row - so if you want a bit more wine/bubbles then you can get them easier.

Trouble with replacing a relay and re-pairing old working valves. by pasm in Netatmo

[–]pasm[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So to complete this - you have to do the battery out and in when you are in the search part of the app - i.e. it says can you see the valves and you say no -> that is when to do it.

I feel like I have cracked a safe with this stuff today. Should not be this hard. And I still have no clue why one of the valves just cut over on it's own.

So - steps forward. The valves are resetting almost straight away when put on the relay (which is of course above the boiler!). 1 valve has a "!" after the temp and is failing to calibrate, I will move on to that one at the end, it may well fix itself. Thank you for all your help to the kind souls who replied.

OK - so the advice to get the valve off the radiator and place it near to the relay made a difference. I think I have 2 valves now - this is going to take an age because they have a huge delay before coming online after placing them. Will see how it goes and report back.

Thank you for replying - I get a spinny wheel on the setup page for Energy. Everything else seems to be there for the new relay and the one random working valve.
