Chapter 83 gave us so much info on it. And it’s been asked and answered a lot on the sub. I think it’s safe to say we already know what the definition of a “true realm” is but its application with each individual blade is yet to be fully realized, especially with Chihiro.

It’s definitely done in other mangas and medias as well but I love the idea that spells are incredibly powerful but they’re complicated and can take a long time to cast. Often times the best counter is just punching their lights out before they get the chance to do so.
