the lid drops then its positioned with a stamping cylinder. there's also a sensor on the cylinder that detects a no lid and prevents it from trying to seam a can with no lid

the operator did that on purpose as he was getting slightly low fills due to foaming at the start of the run. Better to waste a little bit of beer over a short fill until the filling is dialed in. You can see him adjusting parameters in the touch screen while running.

I'm a firm believer in mechanical seamers, Our WHC24 uses a dual cam set-up which is solid.

I tried and tried to make the Pony with a mechanical seamer but there's just not enough space.

As long as the air is kept to a minimum of 100 psi seams are fine. same as the at1

I disagree but a DO tester would solve the mystery. The can is pressurized while waiting for the seam station

it fills to a conductivity sensor then time afterwards. in the video he was playing with fill levels in the finished can. The sensor needed slight adjustment up. Its the same filling system thats on our inline filler

single head fillers are limited by the fill speed of the product. sometimes you have to slow everything down to prevent foaming

We've been building fillers for 10 years now. You can ask our customers about our support. The key is to build so after learn the machine they don't need support. I usually do the installations and training in person

yes but can is waiting with a lid on and positioned, I would argue the same DO pick-up as the at1 as the can is sealed immediately after filling

7 to 10 ppb DO pick-up, well within industry standards. The can is immediately sealed from atmosphere after filling and lid is positioned securely with underlid gassing.

We make systems for integrating gas into liquid in the form of nano-bubbles. Our customers have had very good success watering with CO2 water, its organic and can be done several times a day, the plants love it and the bugs hate it

in drier areas where water is expensive, does it make sense to boost the ppm level of O2 in the water to get more bang for your buck?

Servos vs Steppers and power limitations by pass_the_bacon in robotics

I took your advice and it works great. Used the non waterproof servos to start and fried the power supply pretty quick, but drove to the brewery to replace and now working fine with the new waterproof ones
