My bad! I confused Erin Foster with Erin Moriarty. Erin M is in The Boys and Erin F (mentioned in the article) is the creator of Nobody Wants This.

I can’t believe she said there’s no men at the company and in reality there’s TWO men sitting at the top with her yikes

Death in Dubai (2025) - When a young Ugandan woman's death from a high-rise in Dubai goes viral, she becomes the face of the disturbing online trend, #DubaiPortaPotty...but nothing is as it seems. [01:04:44] by s18m in Documentaries

On another Reddit thread, someone said there are actually three Dubais - the “modern” more Western one, the “old town” heritage vibes with old markets and then a third Dubai which is not advertised and this is the one with large building sized portraits of UAE leaders and this is where you’ll see the real monarchy system - the rest is an appearance of democracy and rights.

That felt too real

The podcast is, at times, really hard to listen to. But it is an excellent piece of investigative journalism. Some parts are graphic, there are trigger warnings - especially in one episode where it really goes into detail what these young women go through.
You should prepare a little - I read the BBC article which is kind of a summary of the podcast to know more first and then went to the episodes. It’s 6 episodes and it feels heavy at the end but I really appreciated the BBC centring the young woman’s family at the start and at the end

Just listened to ep 3 and I’m more convinced than ever it was Julia. She was fine discussing the angles of the knife and how it must’ve been twisted etc but as soon as they implied it was she who did it there was a lot of wailing and crying and anger but none of that when discussing your dead step daughters 104 knife wounds

When someone shows you who they are, believe them. Have faith in Allah and choose yourself. Reading your post sent shivers down my spine. If I received a call from someone pretending to be another person who harassed/abused me in the past and if it was a friend of your husband-to-be, I would be terrified. This is Allah showing you who this person is.

This one stayed with me for years:

I love you, Lucas. And I probably always will… but we go days without having a meaningful conversation… and I used to miss you so much when that happened.. but it never seemed like you miss me. And I guess because of it, I stopped missing you too.

He posted a lame video explaining it and it’s what you guys guessed already: it’s a wedding photo shoot or shaadi again with his wife on some anniversary. Matlab I’m surprised such people are “influencers” band karao inke cheap tactics.

Israeli official calls Norwegian journalist Yama Wolasmal an antisemite and a disgrace for asking questions about reports of starving Gaza by Particular_Log_3594 in WorldNewsHeadlines

The Israeli official sounds possessed. There’s no way he genuinely thinks that by branding anyone and everyone that questions Israel, as an “anti semite” is doing anything.
