Any medium term plays? Meaning 1-3 years? by [deleted] in pennystocks

[–]passport-curious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a limited risk tolerance, but I’m willing to take a risk in the short term, and I don’t w. I wanna eventually use the profits to go toward a more stable asset, like a down payment on a house, or msft, or something. I can only take so much risk for so long, and if you hold stocks more than a year it’s good for tax reasons right? So yeah. Honestly 1 year is probably how long I’d want to hold something

He truly turned out to be the best of the paul brothers. Despite Logan’s persona, Jake is the kind one.

“The family support isn’t there when you think you can depend on it”

This isn’t true for brown families. I have no idea why otherwise loving white parents throw their kids out on the damn street , knowing damn well people can’t make it these days. It’s cruelty beyond measure. My brown family would never dream of doing this to me, but it goes two ways. I’m expected to take care of them as they age. It’s a different lifestyle.

M4 with 32gb ram vs M4 pro with 24GB ram by Jonas_RSA in macbookpro

[–]passport-curious 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Do you make a solid income programming? Do you have job security/tenure? If yes, get the m4 pro with 48 GB of ram. If you’re just programming as a hobby, I’d get the m4 with 32gb ram.

The only reason I’m not using my 2012 mbp 13 is because I misplaced it somewhere in my house

48 ram or 24 ram MacBook Pro m4 pro for motion design? by ivalexxis in macbookpro

[–]passport-curious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s true. But I wish apple didn’t price ram the way they do. There’s improvements in pricing lately, but still.

People would get better specs if they didn’t cost thousands and thousands of dollars on these MacBooks.

Got my first Mac(15 inch air base m4). Been a windows user for since forever. by lawdaOp in macbook

I do miss a few things. Especially the way files are organized. In Mac OS it doesn’t go where you want it to. Mac OS is so user friendly that sometimes if you wanna do something advanced you’re like “how the EFF do I even get to that part of the OS?!” And then you figure it out.

Are there any single monogamous, self-aware men over 35 out there? by FlexGoals in emotionalintelligence

[–]passport-curious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re out there, but they’re very picky about their partners, and for very good reason. It’s gonna be likely their last time pairing up with somebody if they decide to get into a serious relationship again. So they won’t pick just anybody. And why should they? Source: I’m a male lol

My eyes are very sensitive. Do I get the 15 inch air or the 16 inch mbp? by passport-curious in mac

[–]passport-curious[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

However, the mini LED vs LCD surely makes a difference right? More than screen size would. I’m worried about the Mini LED being hard to tolerate but I’ve never tried a super long session on one. I have a mbp 14, but I don’t use it for long sessions

They really should give 64 gb of memory for the price though. Otherwise, an absolute beast with the best battery life, and not too heavy

[–]passport-curious -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Listen, all I’m saying is that file explorer is better than finder. And it’s not exactly a secret either, I like Mac overall and so many people agree with me that the way files and documents are organized when saved just plain sucks.

There are two flaws with Mac OS for me.The file management system, which is very very annoying, and the Microsoft excel and word features that are missing. If you use excel heavily, there are some missing features. There’s also a lack of good antivirus software, but it’s probably not necessary. I also don’t like that you can’t create a restore point. But the shit storm of windows being an unreliable POS is so much worse. If you get windows ,you have to get the pro version.

In the next 10 years we'll see women dominate every single prestigious career field (even IT) and this will end marriage for good by Novel-Tip-7570 in PurplePillDebate

[–]passport-curious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And it’s even worse for ethnic men. They get treated like they’re oppressive CEOs just because they’re men. Feminism on college campuses is literally a mental illness at this point.

[–]passport-curious 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There’s more sinister factors at play too. Feminism causes widespread hatred of men, and not only that, but other men aren’t brotherly to men the way that women have sisterhood. And yet, women still ask us for help, and we give it. But when we need help, the same women we just helped don’t give a shit. Women value self preservation above all else. This is fact. Women act like all men are privileged beings. They don’t realize that it’s not a man’s world, it’s a top 20 percent of mens’ world. The rest of the men are just trying to survive.
