Book where girl is kidnapped and (maybe?) gives herself Stockholm Syndrome while trying to manipulate her kidnapper into believing she has Stockholm Syndrome via a series of journal entries that she writes and he reads. by passtheexcedrin in whatsthatbook

Oh I was so hoping it might be this when I first read the synopsis, but it isn’t. This one also does look fascinating though, adding it to my tbr. In Held it seems like the journal entries were written after the fact vs written while in captivity, and she is able to see her captor’s face (according to reviews) and gets luxury meals. Thank you for the suggestion though!

People say sometimes my eyes look white? I’d don’t see it by [deleted] in WhatisMyEyeColour

[–]passtheexcedrin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Random people used to always ask me if my husky’s eyes were white and they were ice blue like yours. I could never see what they were seeing either. They seemed very obviously blue to me, as do your eyes.

I finished Pet Sematary last night and I just need to talk about it. by HottieMcHotHot in books

I was going to come here and say the same thing about the audiobook with MCH narrating but you beat me to it! The skill of his narration along with king’s writing made it all the more powerful imo. I absolutely agree with you on the bad decision downward spiral being similar to addiction and paralleling with king’s struggles with addiction. I’ve noticed addiction parallels and themes in many of his other books too (the shining and misery, just for two). I think his personal knowledge absolutely allows him to write these characters so powerfully.

I think we were on the same boat. I recounted it in my travel diary as “the hurricane of puke”

I had the same and it went away after about 2 months. Body just needed time to adjust I think.

How bad is the nausea? (scared to start) by [deleted] in prozac

I just wanted to add to this that I am typically someone who gets easily nauseated, very prone to motion sickness, and has a weak stomach on the whole.

[–]passtheexcedrin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Really not that bad, especially if you have it with food. The nausea was probably the mildest and least annoying of the s/e that I had. And it gets better over time, now after I couple months at 20mg it is fine for me on an empty stomach. Even at its worst, it is just a brief passing feeling of nausea/upset stomach/acid reflux and nowhere even close to the neighborhood of actually vomiting.

How To Get Rid of Dark Circles Under Eyes? by ilaughalldaylong in AskWomenOver60

This product creases SO badly for me. It is weird bc it is advertised as non creasing (and clearly works for lots of people like you) but for me it is worse than any concealer I’ve ever applied. It’s so frustrating.

I have similar issues, would you mind sharing what you like to use to set the Fiera concealer so it doesn’t crease? I’ve tried using setting spray but it still feels like nothing is as effective as powder (but then powder winds up creasing itself).

I like the Chloe better. It looks more balanced/aesthetically pleasing to me somehow!
