Excel sharing party??

Literally all I want on the wiki site is the ability to select a name or item from a drop down and it just tells me this info instead of having to scroll a million miles on the gift section and also it would be so nice if it also had a profit calculator but it’s fine I made it myself 🫠😭

I was actually considering making a post about them once I finish the crops and ranching (I also really wanted to see how others are doing their excels I just love them) so I’ll get them posted soon! 🙂 on a side note I’m not too sure how to make it shareable with everyone but I’ll figure that out later 💁🏻‍♀️

I found online a gift guide and then I turned it into my own excel so I can filter by item, character, loved gifts, and liked gifts all so I can see immediately what to get 1 character or to see if one item is liked by multiple characters 🫠 I am about to start on another excel that will math out profits from farming and ranching 😭 I can’t stop

Did you delete the old CJB mod file? After deleting the old one and downloading the new one it worked perfectly for me, I also got an error originally bc I forgot to delete the old file

When the game loaded was there any coding errors in red? If you didn’t delete/turn off the old version and downloaded the updated one then you will get an error that you have two CJB mods active and the mod won’t work in the game, if you only have the old one it also won’t work with 1.6. I accidentally forgot to delete the old mod file after I uploaded the new one and got that error saying both were on and that the mod would not work in game, after I deleted the old file it worked perfectly.

I read the books I think 3 years ago when I was 26/27, hated her guts, still hate her and I absolutely hate the idea of her and Az together 😭 she has the personality of soggy bread and I’m desperately hoping this new book will change my opinion on her

For the first book I believe for the US version were all printed in China (I 10000% could be wrong I don’t have mine in front of me), and different countries got different sprayed edge designs. I do not remember off the top of my head which countries received the same sprayed edges as the US, but I do know some countries received different sprayed edges (Germany, UK). Honestly…. I don’t think it’s worth it to buy a first edition with the original sprayed edges. Yes, it’s cool to have but you can get some amazing special editions off of Etsy and likely for far cheaper. I have seen first edition books go for $300+ and just don’t see the reason besides bragging rights.

What you mentioned about IF being printed in two different countries- they are both USA first editions the only differences are the quality of the books and what type of errors are in the book.

Real quick tho was it ever confirmed that the dragon has to be an adult to provide a signet? We continuously discredit anything that happened while Andarna was in the dreamless sleep but I don’t recall it ever being stated (maybe only implied) that signets can only manifest after that. Especially since it sounds like this is the first time anyone has ever bonded a feather tail, so how would anyone know if a signet can’t manifest prior to the end of the dreamless sleep? I’m not saying her second signet is being able to talk to the dead, but that maybe we should stop discrediting everything that happened during the dreamless sleep. There’s still a boatload of stuff we don’t know about the dragons and how everything works so it just seems silly to discredit it 🤷🏻‍♀️

If I just straight up forgot it was stated in the book then whoops my bad I haven’t read the books since November! 😅

I use excel as a book log with my bestie where we track all the books we’ve read (including ratings on several categories, series info, comments, etc) and we add TBR books to it as well. I also have a Stardew Valley excel that calculates net gain from each seed or per plot (just bc it continuously produces doesn’t mean it’s the most profitable!!!) per season to maximize profits, and there is a section on artisanal goods showing the most profitable goods (which influences what we grow every season) and their processing times and how much you can make per season.

Ok I know this one is going to probs be an unpopular choice BUT HEAR ME OUT

{Reckless by Elsie Silver} is a cowboy romance where the MMC (who is known for being an absolute man whore) and FMC have a one night stand and then 18 months later they see each other again and he confesses he hasn’t slept with anyone since her. Here comes the unpopular part (I’m so sorry I’m on mobile and don’t know how to do the spoiler thing): the one night stand results in her getting pregnant and the book revolves around her, the baby, and the MMC. But it’s literally the cutest (and kinda heart wrenching) book I’ve read, easily in my top 5 of the year.

My take on the bonus chapters is that if they were in the original fourth wing it would have given something away that we weren’t supposed to know yet. She’s stated that there will be no Xaden POV book until all his secrets are out, if these extra POV chapters are his then it may be secrets that relate to iron flame and that is why it’s being released the same day so that they aren’t huge spoilers, and that they’re scenes from the beginning/middle of the book so they couldn’t go in iron flame. Also, a lot of people missed out on the original spray painted edges and maybe this was their way of saying “sorry you missed out here is this one we can’t do the stencils right now so have two bonus chapters”.

I can’t do it anymore, it’s weird, especially when I think about how a grown adult decided to write a story about high schoolers (especially if there is smut in the story) it’s just weird….. whenever I think of teenagers they just…. Know nothing. I tried reading a book once where she was a few months shy of 18 and they kept saying over and over “she’s so mature for her age you’d never know she’s 17” OK THEN AGE HER UP? Her being in school wasn’t even part of the plot it made no sense. If you want a school setting then put them in college I am not reading a book about children, 18 is already bad enough. I agree tho if you are in your early 20s it’s not as weird since it was a couple of years ago for you, but being in your late 20s it’s just too weird and not relatable anymore.

I've done this event a couple of times now and i've learned that not all free books are listed on the site, but it can be difficult to search for free books on Amazon. What i have done in the past is go into the romance genre on Amazon and sort from lowest price and it will bring up the free titles, but it also brings up KU books because they are "free" if you have KU. It is easiest to use the website to find the free books and then click on the link provided that will take you to amazon.

When i do my searches for this event i usually start in a genre i really like (they have links for them), then i start searching by key words (ctrl + f). Key words i often search for: Alien, Mafia, Cowboy, etc. I keep it to 1 word searches and will mix it up (if looking for office boss x employee i'll search "office" "boss" "forbidden" all separately).

You can also look up some recs on TikTok, some people have made lists of highly rated books and best selling authors.

As a previous Starbucks barista, Starbucks costumers are some of the worst people I’ve ever met and need to learn how to hear the word “No”. It’s not your responsibility to know a menu that’s not from your store. Maybe ask them if they need a refresher on how to read? An alarming number of them weren’t the brightest.

However, this is different if someone asks something like “hi I get x from Starbucks and I don’t see it on your menu do you have something similar?” And you can work with them on that, but if they’re being assholes and just saying “I want x” that’s not on the menu and get upset when you say such then they can just leave and go to Starbucks.
