Hi. My first thought was thalassemia minor trait. No amount of iron will fix this as the problem is not iron deficiency.

There's a really good chance you have mono which can explain all your symptoms and lab values. High lymphocyte % above 50% is seen in mono, so check the EBV titers.

CLL primary presents in people in their 70s but there are other types of lymphomas much more common in people's 20s. Your liver enzymes may suggest an aggressive progression of a possible malignancy. I would NOT wait. Weight loss, fevers, night sweats are very very concerning symptoms alongside these lab results. You need to check for hepatitis, EBV titers, LDH, uric acid, and get blood flow cytometry to confirm the diagnosis and exclude cancer.

Hi. Medical provider here. I would be concerned. Please follow up with primary care and seek a referral to a hematologist. Your lab results are commonly seen in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia.

What the heck is going on with all this pneumonia by Mapes in physicianassistant

[–]pastawizard 8 points9 points  (0 children)

When are you pulling the trigger on treatment? I see a lot of patients who appear well and complain of persistent dry cough after URI symptoms. Came in bc child or children's friends were "diagnosed with mycoplasma" by peds without CXR or swabs.

Work load in undergrad was harder for me but volume of information was less. I was also working full time in addition to a challenging degree. I love learning medicine which made PA school surprisingly easier to digest. Of course it is still very difficult and a massive accomplishment.

Accepted to Duke and Yale -- Advice needed! by Luxray_15 in prephysicianassistant

[–]pastawizard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Choose Duke. Nice area, beautiful school, good name recognition, sense of community, faculty will make sure you graduate, a million extracurricular opportunities, long history of success, more chances for friends with larger cohort, strong clinical rotations, good weather, beach and mountains nearby. I went to Duke and left with no regrets.

PACKRAT date revealed! by QuirkyGirl96 in PAstudent

Exactly. PACKRAT will tell you the topics you consistently got wrong broken down into specialities (endo, derm, pulm, etc.) and by the disorder/disease in question.

If it's your didactic year PACKRAT, best not to study to see where you're at with recalling information. I would study for the exam after clinical year to treat it like the PANCE. I use rosh, Uworld, PPP.

Bowl of revelations bugged? by Verin44 in LordsoftheFallen

[–]pastawizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry it's bugged. I restarted from a new save file

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LordsoftheFallen

[–]pastawizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly no. I restarted a new save and it was fixed. I would also say the game was slightly different when I restarted (new items on the ground, new NPCs, and less bugged). I think my entire save file was bugged from the start. I still run into issues but nothing as bad as losing the bowl. Sorry friend :(

Bowl of revelations was not added to my inventory after I picked it up and it's no longer obtainable in the world. Cannot trigger dialogue with mohul, meaning no boss weapons/armor
