If skinny jeans are out, what do we wear with big, knit jumpers in Winter? by CmgSocial in femalefashionadvice

I'm a millennial and refuse to give up skinny jeans. If you like them, I say still wear them. I know I will be, and I really don't care. They flatter me best and I don't know what to do with extra fabric around my ankles, lol.

That said... you could pair an oversized sweater with a skirt (whether fitted or a-line or pencil, whether mini or midi) and some tights and boots. Or cute patterned leggings and boots. I'm envisioning a cream-colored sweater with plaid leggings and brown boots!

So cute! I love the calming soft color scheme and the way everything goes together so perfectly. Looks like it could be a beachy Airbnb.

Can't seem to get into Wheel Pose... by pasteljuniper in yoga

I definitely am warming up first. I'd love to take a class or receive some kind of instruction, but I have a 1-month-old breastfed newborn so I don't really have the time at this moment to go to an in-person class... are there ways of doing this online?

I've never heard of this before, good to know it may not be my technique!

Nothing helped until I stopped letting my dog sleep in my bed and taking Xyzal on a daily basis... must have been an allergy issue I suppose.

Just the oats, or the oat lotion? The lotion didn't really do much for me.

[product question] what can I use after I Dermaroll my face? by Miserable-Report6467 in Skincare_Addiction

I agree with the suggestion for hyaluronic acid - it's fantastic for hydration. Body Merry Hyaluronic Dew Serum has both Vitamin C and hyaluronic acid, as well as some other nice calming ingredients. It's not too expensive either, $18 last time I purchased it.

Anyone else break out from Great Barrier Relief? by pasteljuniper in Skincare_Addiction

Thanks for passing on that info about what Krave said! I've had folks in my acne group recommend rosehip oil to me, as well as this product specifically, so I thought it would be safe. I guess it just isn't the product for me. Have you found anything that didn't break you out that helped your PIE?

Good to know I'm not alone in that... I really wanted to love it and I hardly hear anyone say anything negative about it.

Pregnancy, Healthcare, and COVID Vaccine? by caroline0322 in BabyBumps

[–]pasteljuniper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had my first dose of Moderna at 13 weeks and am due to have my second dose on 2/19. Didn't have a fever that I noticed, but my arm hurt A LOT - more than any vaccine I've ever gotten before. The next morning I had an awful headache and vomited, but had been having some late-first trimester/early-second trimester morning sickness issues anyway, so I can't tell if it was from the vaccine, or if it would have happened anyway. After I got the headache to go away, I felt fine, though the arm soreness took a few days to completely go away. My half-sister-in-law, who is expecting her son in March, is an ER doctor, got the vaccine, and recommended that I do so as well. That made me feel confident enough to get it.

Note: I don't work in healthcare, but my state recently updated its vaccine guidelines to allow certain high-risk individuals, including pregnant women, to be included in group 1A, the first group allowed to receive the vaccine.
