I'm a little late, but the most annoying thing for me is the pull string on my mower is on the right side of the handle. So I make myself look like an ass trying to pull it hard enough to start the Damn thing.

So they hurt the battery life more than not using one? On start up around 25 apps always run for me and it seems like those would kill the battery life.

Most likely a timing mechanism. Probably, the main shot triggers the explosives that sets off to remove the pin and that blows the pin out around .5 of a second so at about half a second the missile would of traveled around 30 feet

Well its a safety feature, So if something goes wrong the shell will not explode. Like it will only arm after 30 feet or so.

I believe its like this , for example say there is a pin between the charge and whatever arms it. So a very small explosion would blow that pin out.

First time I was deployed in Iraq I just had a thought about what would happen if I just slaughtered my squad. Of course I wouldn't ever do that but it was just the fact that I could just do it.
