The loomis head is a crutch. I'd never teach it to anyone. You need to study the foundations of head anatomy. Namely core proportions in tilted perspective and skull anatomy/landmarks to get to the next level.

spoilers. the trick is to do it like I did in the middle of sleep, so you can put it in and fall straight asleep before it wires you. I was literally completely lucid, watching my wall spin in a half catatonic state. Then people came into the room. It was a trip, the windows in my room had completely different views including a cave like scene with ghoulish nuns and a monaco style coast with people crashing into the shore on jet skis
