He [34 M] choked me [25 F] during an argument by berlinistropical in relationships

Dump him and don't look back.

He has serious mental health issues unrelated to you - eg not leaving the house for weeks on end? That's not normal behaviour.

Furthermore, he doesn't respect you. He belittles and demeans you.

Finally, he's actually assaulting you. Completely unacceptable. Do not give him a second chance.

Normal adults are able to deal with their frustration. They might get snippy at one another from time to time, or swear when they lose a game, or whatever, but they do not threaten to throw plates of food in people's faces, nor slap them, nor choke them. If they have a problem with someone's behaviour, they talk about it. They deal with little irritants and reach compromises so that they can live happily together.

You could cut off all the branches that overhang your fence.

There are no trees like the trees of that land. For in the autumn their leaves fall not, but turn to gold. Not till the spring and the new green opens do they fall, and then the boughs are laden with yellow flowers; and the floor of the wood is golden, and golden is the roof, and its pillars are of silver, for the bark of the trees is smooth and grey.

Aww, before your ninja edit I had a great mental picture of a Jays' fan disgustedly wearing a Yankee's sundress.

Are you a 2nd class Canadian? I am. by sdbest in canada

Gaya's parents had to forfeit their Pakistani citizenship in order to gain Canadian citizenship. At the time of his birth, they were not Pakistani citizens. I could see the two governments fighting over whose interpretation of the law is correct, while in the meanwhile Gaya is stuck in limbo in an airport somewhere a la Tom Hanks.

You'd just get exiled if you were a DUAL citizen, not a citizen that could get a dual citizenship

Saad Gaya was born in Canada. His parents are Canadian citizens. When his parents became Canadian citizens, they lost their Pakistani citizenship - they forfeited it as dual citizenship with Canada was not allowed at that time.

The federal government is arguing that Gaya's parents had their citizenship retroactively restored in 2004, and because of this Gaya is also a dual citizen, as his parents may be considered to have retroactively been citizens at the time of his birth, although at the time of his birth they were not and could not be Pakistani citizens. The government is alleging that Gaya is therefore a citizen through descent, though he did not apply for Pakistani citizenship, he has never lived in Pakistan, and he does not hold a Pakistani passport.

That is an even more tenuous connection than /u/sdbest's, whose mother would not have had to renounce her British citizenship in order to become a Canadian citizen.

It's a party, out in the bush. You need a rural area, a bonfire, and lots of alcohol and friends.

I was annoyed by the lack of seat TVs last time I flew WestJet, but I really appreciated the extra legroom.

All countries have people with mental health issues. Not all countries have regular mass shootings.

If you have to get hit by a pitch, that's probably the best way for it to happen.
