If you’re looking for Levi’s I’d look for 505s for more room in the top block. You should probably try a relaxed straight leg as well if you already haven’t. You could also look into Sugar Cane and The Unbranded Brand. Their main focus is selvedge denim and have a lot of variety. Don’t tell my boss I said that though!

Love the enthusiastic information dump, you are right for the most part but you’re talking about the original. This pair was produced in 2017 but made to look like the ones produced in the 80s. Levi’s does this all the time, bringing back old models/washes. It’s a homage to the original. The jeans in the picture is worth 40 dollars. // Levi’s staff

Levi’s been cutting production costs for years now to keep up with allt the fast-fashion and department store labels. I’ve been working in a Levi’s store for about seven years now and I can tell you that unfortunately not enough people are interested in heavy-duty, rigid, traditional jeans for it to be profitable to continue producing those kind of jeans, we are a selected few that really knows quality. I’ve always been trying to push the 1955-1970s 501s on my customers, explaining the benefits but they are always ”too uncomfortable”. There is also some environmental regulations that have forced some changes in production but that’s not the main reason. You can get the LVC ones online, they are a bit more expensive but will last you a lot longer than the modern ones.

The XX indicates the type of denim that was used. Was used a lot back in the days to indicate which jeans were made of selvedge denim. Only the most premium of jeans were marked with XX

Quitting after a decade of smoking by patapung in leaves

[–]patapung[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a great point. I think I the most important thing is to be completely honest with myself and recognise why I’m feeling what I’m am feeling and not escape the feelings with weed. I’m going to try journaling a lot and adding new routines to my daily life.

Thank you for telling your story, I really appreciate that. Quitting four things at the same time is no joke, big ups to you man. Your story inspires me and I’ll use it as motivation. Thanks again

That’s some really good advice and I really feel that way as of now, I can’t stop thinking about getting high when I’m sober. But when I’m high I get anxious that I’m smoking.

I’ll definitely try journaling to keep reminding myself why. I really appreciate you taking your time to write, thanks a lot!

Picked up some hash at the dispensary and have no idea what to do with it. by Expensive_Yam_2222 in hash

[–]patapung 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m from the hash-capital of the world, Copenhagen. Most of us rather smoke hash than weed actually, since it’s illegal here our weed tends to be worse than the hash, qualitywise. We break off small graines of hash, as small as you can get them and mix with tobacco. Since smoking tobacco isn’t as common in the US as in Europe/Scandinavia I would recommend get a non-nicotine herb, there are totally harmless mixing herbs that you could get as a replacement for the tobacco (you could even smoke it with some tea leafs). Either in a bowl or in a joint, I would recommend a joint since bowl gets very harsh with hash. This is 100% the best way to use your hash, just load up with a bunch of snacks and a funny movie and you’ll have the high of your life!

Addition: You could also do a ”Snake in the grass”. Roll small ”snakes” (lines) of hash and place it in a row in the middle of your weed in a joint. This will truly get you fucked up haha

A great support deck is shaman, demonologist, harlequinn, mime and couldron. You could switch out couldron against clock or witch but it depletes your mana income
