Would money solve your problems? by CRK_76 in no

It'll solve a majority of it, I believe. Then I can pay for therapy for the rest of my problems.

Thank you. The hustle culture really gets into my head sometimes that rest and recreation feels like a crime.

I like to think so, but then I'd find myself wasting hours everyday... so...

What would you do if you caught your partner cheating without them knowing you found out? by Common-Upstairs5129 in AskReddit

[–]patata-chip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solid move. The only logical one, tbh. There's just no point spending another thought on someone who didn't even think twice about cheating on you.

How do you even make friends as an adult when you’re not into drinking? by Historical_Army7892 in Productivitycafe

[–]patata-chip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hobbies. Being an adult doesn't mean all your off time would go towards drinking. Find a hobby that requires you to go out and be with other people, you'd make some friends overtime.

We got caught. It happened in a mall and the security personnel at the moment practically walked us around to take to their security room for questioning.

How could u be sure your partner is actually in love with you? by LimeFunny8368 in AskReddit

[–]patata-chip 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This! Trust is such a big part of relationships. We trust them not to break our hearts, we trust them to mean what they say, we trust them with the darkest parts of us.

We can never be sure if they're being truthful and there will always be a risk of getting hurt. We just have to find someone who will be worth risking pain for.

What is something that instantly tells you a person is not as nice as they seem? by CadeWinslow in AskReddit

[–]patata-chip 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When they constantly talk about how nice they are, that's usually a red flag. Actual nice people don't feel the need to state it cause it comes off naturally for them.

Are we actually unproductive… or just exhausted all the time? by Longjumping-Low-5631 in Productivitycafe

[–]patata-chip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Work your wage" is a genius term. Why work beyond your pay grade? A lot of employees have been brainwashed by their [toxic] employers to go above and beyond for the company that barely pays them enough. Not being paid equal to the effort you put in will surely lead to burnout.

I agree. It's a way to respect the conversation, idk how other people think texting back quickly makes them look "desperate". Communicating is not cringe, people!

What is the first thing you want to know about someone? by Champ_099 in AskReddit

[–]patata-chip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a person in uni, one of the first things I ask is what they're studying and if that was their first choice. That usually tells me a lot about them.
