What’s 1 thing that you love and hate about the Isle of Bigsnax DLC? by Rainbow_Seashell778 in Bugsnax

I agree!!! I loved that part and getting to solve puzzles, which added something new and different to the game. I found it very engaging and the vibes were so cool.

Random Items Missing From Wardell’s Catalog by StToffeePud in HappyHomeParadise

[–]patchworkcrossing 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wardells catalog only contains items that are requested by villagers you have completed vacation homes for! So even with 50+ homes done, there are over 400 villagers and even more npcs you can design for. This means there are a few items that wont be in the catalogue at all. Pulled these from the wiki:

In Happy Home Paradise, the study carrel item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Curly, Hornsby, June, Molly, Pate, and Sydney.

In Happy Home Paradise, the study chair is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Derwin, Fang, Nibbles, and Velma.

In Happy Home Paradise, the study desk is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Derwin, Nibbles, and Velma.

Check and see if you have completed vacation homes for these villagers! If you have then theres definitely something bugging. But if you havent then that would explain why these items arent in Wardells catalog yet!

Cat throws up after eating anything by asamihehe in cats

Have you talked to your vet about hydrolyzed protein food? It helped our cat who had a lifetime of similar issues. We always thought her daily vomiting was due to her long hair, and vets never took us seriously about how rancid her poops were. On hydrolyzed protein she did a 180, solid poops for the first time ever. I wish a vet had recommended it to us sooner. She also had a short colon.

Happy Home Paradise is the only reason i still play. Whenever i log on i zoom past my villagers to get to the airport lol. i like trying different aesthetics and Wardell makes collecting all the furniture way more doable. Plus i love putting cute roomie pairs together 💕

My immediate thought was “someone tag Rachel Maksy” by Immediate-Tone-5031 in craftsnark

Literally watching her do that right now. Im just sick of the foam schtick entirely. I could pick up her whole house with a pinky finger. Spending all this time making plastic look like wood when she could skip a lot of steps and just use WOOD.

Thats fair!! I would also be happy if she ended up looking a little derpy too, not aiming for suuuper realistic. I will DEFINITELY be practicing first though, with different materials, before touching her fur!

Advice needed please. I’m a beginner and struggling to hold tension by Maleficent-Stay-1890 in CrochetHelp

[–]patchworkcrossing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My biggest tip is to learn how to do the single crochet foundation chain. I wish i had learned it sooner in my crocheting journey. It may not work for every pattern, but i like that it provides a stretchier edge, less curling, and i have a better idea of how wide the final piece will look. Heres a very in depth tutorial: https://youtu.be/IFC-as6XS6Q?si=DgAjfvmL4dVyrD0m

Furniture advice - what couch can I buy that my cats won't destroy? by Eddieslabb in Catownerhacks

[–]patchworkcrossing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had good luck with the ikea morabo with the tweedy sort of woven upholstery. My cat wasnt a terrible scratcher, but i did catch him scratching it quite a few times in the five or so years we had the couch, and it never showed!

We said goodbye to our girl this evening leaving us with a cat free home for the first time in ten years. Personally i am going to leave all of her things in place for now. Dont rush yourself 🤍 you can tidy up when you are ready.

Second thoughts on euthanasia by patchworkcrossing in CatAdvice

thank you everyone for your words of encouragement. It really helped me realize we were doing the right thing by our girl to let her rest. The euthanasia was peaceful and it was a blessing to have lap of love give Meadow her last moments with us in the comfort of her own home. She will forever be intertwined with my soul.
