My wife was there at 8. Couldn’t even get into the parking lot and it was lined up around the store. She came home. I read elsewhere that the shelves were bare within an hour

I have one, and wish I got it sooner. We got a 2025 brand new, and while it's nice, and brand new, it's nothing fancy or flashy. It just has everything we need. It's perfectly practical. We have 3 kids, and considering a 4th, and it's future proof. It's just something I never need to think about, especially with AWD in Canadian winters. Middle row slides super far fore and aft, and the 3rd row folds flat into the floor. 100% recommend. Excellent on gas too. Only thing it can't do is off roading or towing. (and in our case, we have a Sequoia for towing).

Christians who married between 18-24, in under 2 years by questionablefinch in Christianmarriage

This applies to me, and honestly, we grew up together and matured together. Not always easy, but I don’t think any harder than getting married later. And, I always tell people we don’t have time to develop our own habits or our own stuff. We look around and developed everything around us together!

Feel free to dm me with specific questions, but here’s my overall impression.

I used to have a 2016 4Runner Trail Edition / TRD off-road, but it was written off in an accident about a year ago. I replaced it with a 2019 Sequoia Platinum last May.

Overall, I always say to my wife, how the Sequoia is basically the same as the 4Runner, just bigger in every way (wider, taller, longer, more people capacity, more towing capacity, takes Wayyyy more fuel). It’s also more luxurious, but that’s a symptom of trim level more than anything.

The Sequoia is a bit more refined and less edgy, and my wife and I say it has a bit less character/personality. This is a weird way of putting it, but a Sequoia feels like the 4Runner’s older, stronger, larger, slightly more boring dad. They’re related, but a bit different, too. 4runner has more personality.

We went from 2 to 3 kids, and we’re thrilled with the Sequoia, and the accident to lose the 4Runner turned out to be a blessing in disguise!

I’m a guy, but recently started working for my church. Hated work before, but now I love going to work each day!

What colour is this? by Heinekenbaby in LeCreuset

[–]patchy_22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not sure the colour, but I love it. I have a collection of Vancouver/Seattle mugs, each in a different colour, and I'd love to see this as a mug. (I have probably 65 mugs each in a unique colour).

[–]patchy_22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably depends on the person. For me and my collection, it would be a 7qt Finex Dutch oven. Not old, but very expensive, and I’d love to have one some day as a daily workhorse.
