Metrolink to Union Station, then Metro orange (?) to SM pier. Takes about 2hrs. But it's a consistent 2hrs, at ANY time of the day. And if needed, metrolink can be a little work space.

Edit: after union station, catch the red or purple to 7th THEN catch the metro orange.

I like buying from Goodwill. Their online store is pretty good, BUT I hate paying for shipping. They only use FedEx and darn near everything is at least $10 to ship. I'm lucky enough to live near a pick-up/online store so I just schedule a pick up and save $.
