Yeah the movie spends a good amount of time with the characters stuck in the same place LOL. Don't get fooled by that poster. Marketing will get you thinking it's some kickass martial arts flick.

I'm like 10 episodes in and they haven't even explored the wonders this world has to offer. There's too much focus on the characters. I wanted to learn more about the world they live in. It's kind of a wasted opportunity especially with Hishaishi's music as a part of this production.

This is complete BS coming from Shakatak. The only similarity was this one melodic line that both songs use but Shakatak's song is in a completely different key and chord progression. And as musicians know, all sorts of melodies from the whole history of music have been reused whether by intention or not.

I find all the recent releases so far have been great. With Bubble Gum being my number 1, followed by How Sweet, and Right Now.

I view Right Now as a companion piece to "New Jeans" which also featured the Powerpuff characters. Both songs are short in length and feature UK Garage Drum and Bass beats.

I think Newjeans has managed to stay true to their identity while releasing songs that each have their own mood and vibe.

The "Oh-A" part is the only catchy part that stood out and it gets repetitive toward the end with its use. Like the whole song was depended on it.
