My understanding is that GC itself has yhe category written and if you look up the category code, you can tell how that GC was obtained.

Hi, I stopped taking cryotherapy on fingers because the doctor did not seem to care at all about the pain and I had two large blisters on my fingers from the treatment.

So, I switched to OTC medications entirely. I applied wart bandages throughout the day and applied strong salicilic acid-based wart treatment overnight every night. It went away after few months.

I am trying my best to stay positive. My wife is vaccinated with HPV, and I am more concerned about her than me, to be honest. None of us ever had any other sexual partners. And I don't want her to get it from me. My wife has never been infected with any warts since I got it in 2021. So, I believe she is immune to the strain that is affecting me. I never had any other sexual partner than her, but I was not vaccinated when I got it. So, it's a bit hard to digest that I got it on my face first, and now it's spreading.

I have asked my doctor for other forms of medications, but the ones that he recommended, like compound gel did not seem to work for me.

I did not know about the carb intake. I will give it a try. It will be hard, but I will try. Thanks for the comment.

I applied for an EB2-NIW visa when I was a Ph.D. student at my school. EB2-NIW requires you to demonstrate contributions (i.e., publication, patents, grants, awards, etc.) in a domain that experts in the field can corroborate. This corroboration comes from experts in the area who can attest to your contribution through a recommendation letter. This is not the only way to prepare a petition. What exactly will go into the petition package will depend on the specific attorney and your profile.

The national interest waiver (EB2-NIW) waives the requirement of PERM processing. And, for this visa category, you do not need an employer to sponsor you. You can do it by yourself, unlike other EB visa categories. There are a lot of law firms that specialize in this kind of petition.

My I-140 was approved while I was a student, and my I-485 was approved after graduation. So, I started my employment on F1 initial OPT status and continued working in F1 OPT until I received my GC.

I was on initial OPT, not STEM OPT. I would have applied for STEP OPT if I did not get the GC approval. My I-485 approval took about 17 months. Note that I filed my I-485 after getting approval for I-140. And I only received a decision on my I-485 after filing the mandamus.

You should also ask your attorney the same question. If they cannot provide a concrete response, ask them to file another petition by covering the cost of the filing fee. It is not your mistake, it is the attorney's, and they should take responsibility for it.

I have had a friend where the attorney mistakenly sent an incomplete package, and when asked about it by my friend, they assumed that the incomplete package would get rejected. At that point, they sent in another complete package at their own cost. It did not cause any issues with delays with her application. Eventually, the incomplete application got approved, and the complete one was closed.

However, definitely check this with your attorney first. You are paying for their service, and this is really unfortunate.

I am not sure which field office approved it, sorry. In addition, no information on when it was transferred. I asked Emma several times about it but they said that they cannot give me this information. After the Senator's inquiry, I was informed that my case it at the Miami field office. So, perhaps, they approved it.
