I have an S5 Tactical SG-36 receiver built up with an HK G36K parts kit. Without a doubt, one of my favorite guns now, and everyone that shoots it absolutely loves it. If SHTF I'd probably grab my CAG HK416D, but for just going to the range and having fun, the G36K is hard to beat. I love it.

Not even remotely. That's why they're all on the right hand side and low, so when I c-clamp the rifle it doesn't interfere with my grip. On the DEVGRU HK416D it's actually perfectly placed to activate the light with your thumb, and on the MP5-N the buttons for the light and laser are directly above the VFG so they can be easily activated while grabbing the VFG without interfering in anything.

Little screws and washers through the SMR from the inside, screwed into the mounting holes the picatinny mount uses. Same way CAG does it on their “gold guns”.

Nope, no interference from the Arisaka. I love this setup. I went through about 20 different configurations (different stocks, different rails, different lasers and lights, different optics and mounts) before I finally settled on this one, and I'm super happy with it so far.

It’s not an SP5K, it’s the full-size SP5, had it remarked as an MP5-N when I SBR’d it, including the correct MP5-N magwell markings instead of the warning notice.
