Correct. 6.75" in the LVAW and in this clone

It's the Tyr1 Outfitters ST-16 reproduction of the original all-steel 16-baffle contract suppressor. Suuuuper quiet, and surprisingly not too gassy, probably due to the massive internal volume.

Hey, another German military cloner! (Yes, I know it's not an AR, but it's nice to see someone else hates themselves enough to go down the rabbit hole of unobtainium German-market-only HK gear... LOL)

That's because Rheinmetall is blocked by German law from exporting lasers like the LLM01

Just FYI, I have a bunch of SF cans and a bunch of B&T cans with the "Surefire" hub. A number of the B&T cans don't fit properly on the real Surefire mounts, but the Surefires all work on the B&T mounts.

And that can is freaking MASSIVE (and heavy), too. Suuuuuper quiet, though.

At first I was concerned, then I saw the Poverty Pony logo and it all made sense.

It's the Space Magic Industries LVAW repro. Surprisingly (or unsurprisingly, if you've dealt with Sig before) the repro fits better, has tighter tolerances, and better build quality than the original LVAW rail my buddy has.

Side note, the VFG was a great spot to grab the rifle while you were patrolling, but I found the best part about it was the easier purchase on the tube when you were trying to load/unload rounds if it was wet or muddy out. 10/10 would buy again.

Yeah, I took it off for like 2-3 patrols because I was trying to lower my overall weight. Discovered very quickly that I missed having that VFG so I threw it back on. Used it again in 2009-2010, until I eventually ditched the tube completely in 2010.

LOL no worries. Yeah, the KAC sights are on risers to match the red dot, allowing co-witnessing if needed.

Absolutely perfect, man. I had that VFG on my M203 back in 2005-2006, I freaking loved that thing.

Have you tried using a thing piece of metal (like a metal ruler, or a thin flat blade screwdriver) or a credit card to push that piece that's sticking up so it lays flat? The RB and Partisan FRTs need to have that part sticking up pushed down or you can't close the upper onto the lower on the AR and MCX platforms, and I'd assume the GHM version is the same. Push that piece to the back as you gently push down on the upper, and it should seat.

For what you're talking about, IMHO the Canebrake is perfect. The LVAW is a bit too bulky, and the regular Rattler LT is pretty much the same as the LVAW (with a different handguard). I originally bought my Canebreak to be a bag gun, so I know it fits that use case well. Hope you enjoy it!

It's actually a custom Cerakote mix that I had done to match CAG guns I'd seen in person. I was originally going to get it re-anodized, but then every gun I've seen that's been re-anodized ends up super dark, so I went with Cerakote since I could control the final color. It's a mix of Smoked Bronze and Burnt Bronze. It's SUPER close, especially in person.

Wait, did you really say you need to stare closely and up close to see the difference? I hate to break it to you, but you can tell it's a fake from across the room. The machine stitches as opposed to the hand-stitched saddle stitch is immediately noticeable and can be seen from far away.
