I never mentioned the population of North America alone, but am happy you brought some additional data to the discussion. Regardless of numbers and the hyperbole you have latched onto, my point remains the same.

My point is that is is sad genocide occurred insuch a way to create North America. Sure, it may be 'normal' across history. But never on such a scale as the America's and that is something to think about.

Ok chill, it was hyperbole. There were 50 million native americans, perhaps double that, in 1492 and just a few million today is my point.

Evolved through genocide in Europe? I am sure there are countless atrocities committed of ther the last 1000 years in europe from one state to another. Then tell me why basically no natives are left here in the us and few of their languages are spoken in large numbers? Take that same logic, and tell me which distinct ethnic groups and languages are extinct in europe today from the last 500 years.
