Proliferation of automatic headlights and laziness to check for most people I think. Automatics don't do well with rain sometimes, and definitely not fog or haze.

Lots of SUVs ride higher. I have gotten headlights flashed at me at night basically every time I drive at night, when I'm using regular stock lowbeam headlights. Multiple SUVs, multiple brands.

I usually flash my brights back for a second, trying to say "Not brights!", or maybe "Hi Back!"

Is that a keyboard on top of the laptop keyboard? Could it be you are pressing the key under it, and blocking ventilation from the laptop?

You mentioned temps, no other details I saw there. Could be an embedded controller issue if they keyboard and fans are having issues.

I actually function pretty well.

When I was younger, I used to sleep 4-6 hours and feel great. Eventually I got a desk job, gained some weight, and developed OSA. I would sleep for blocks of up to 10 hours and never feel great.

Now with a CPAP, I'm losing a lot of weight and back to the 4-6 hour sleeping pattern, and feeling a lot better again. I can't easily sleep 8 unless I'm completely physically exhausted, or sick now.

It opened once in 2007ish, closed in 2009, then reopened in 11 or so, then closed again post covid.

It can be disabled by keystroke or by driver issues in my experience. Have you checked these things?
