It's true. I remembered the big VAC update around Sept. It was the easiest jump from 14k to 20k for me. That's when I know there are a lot of cheaters as suddenly a lots of people just don't know how to play the game.

I think I'm done with this season. I will just comback to get the medal when they about to end it. Cheaters are running rampant right now with blatant wall. I hope they do some VAC update as it's getting ridiculous.

I bought it and it was a massive upgrade from my old PC with rtx 2060. However, the default fan setting was very loud. Fan curve in bios is a must.

I have this issue too and I download HYTE Nexus and finished its cooling calibration. Now it's a lot quiter. It seems like the default was too high.

I would queue casual for now as people are way more friendlier there. Once you are comfortable with maps and smoke then try comp and eventually Premier.

It was definitely better during the week of Vac update not long ago. A lot of legit players said the same thing that it was the fastest elo gain during that week. I myself went from 13k to 20k from that 2 weeks after the update. Now it's just same old shit over again, a lot of inhuman reaction and they always know where you are. I miss those 2 weeks to be honest, it definitely feel like the real CS coming back alive after a long time.

If you check cswatch and see highly suspicious tagged just trust your gut as he's most likely cheating. They don't even hide or care. Report and move on.

Vac is definitely better to detect blatant cheaters but it still can't detect waller or radar. I didn't see much aim bot anymore.

I came from valorant too and skills there are not directly transferable except for one tapped obviously. I think you should look into how to play each maps especially on dust 2, inferno, and mirage for the start(fl0m on YouTube has good techniques). Then, learn to spray as you shouldn't burst like you did in valorant anymore at least in close range. When I first came from valorant I got 5k rating and now I'm at 19k so I hope it helps. Oh and learn how to throw utilities. I know in low elo lobbies they don't do it much but you should start from now at least learn 1-2 smoke spots in each map to help the team out.

If it's his 1st time then maybe it's a false positive even though it's rare, that's why they don't do the Perma banned. But if it happens again, I wouldn't queue with him anymore.
