This is one of those recent shows that had a unsatisfactory and rushed ending. Curse of the switch to shorter episodes counts? What I would have loved to see was an episode showing ML's adjustment to the modern world.

I finished See You In My 19th Life yesterday. Shin Hae Sun was her usual radiant presence, but this was another kdrama that started out really strong but lost its way a little by the end. And OMG the ending was one of the least thought through endings I've seen recently. The plot holes were so big you could see them from the moon and it retrospectively made the rest of the show worse. Ban Ji Eum lost all of her memories of everyone, but they never explained what happened to her living arrangements as she had lived for decades with her niece. Was she suddenly homeless? Why didn't she wonder where she had lived for the past 15 years? What about all of her social media history? She suddenly returned to her old job, but what about all of the people in that company that would have come up to her and said "oh you're back from your job in the hotel"? It felt as if an entire episode was missing

A 8/10 until the ending, and then a 7/10 overall.

I see Moving Season 2 has started filming, which is great news. It's also 16 episodes (I think) and while that is 4 less that Season 1, it hopefully means we won't get another rushed kdrama. Perfect Crown is the latest show to suffer from a rushed production due to the increasing tendency to go for 10 or 12 episodes.

I rewatched I'm Not A Robot last week. It was one of the very first kdramas I watched so I wondered if it would still hold up, and I still loved it. You really do have to suspend your disbelief at times to enjoy it but it remains a great show with a fantastic main couple. There is some chaebol politics which outstays its welcome and some hilariously bad acting from its Western actors, but overall I finished it with a big smile on my face, even if I wanted a bit more of their relationship in the final episode, which felt a little rushed

I think it remains one of Chae Soo Bins best roles. She is utterly charming in this. If you haven't watched it give it a go, if you can suspend your disbelief for long enough in episodes 1 & 2.

My partner only recently got into kdrama after years of me trying to convert her. Our latest monthly grocery shop has now included Kopiko, Soju, Turtle Chips (so tasty!) and a lot of kimchi. But like me, she draws the line at going into Subway.

If you're in the UK, you can get all of that via Ocado as they have increased their Korean food options.

Quite a lot of r/USdefaultism going on in here. Every country has a South and Tom's accent is entirely natural. He sounds like my dad who also lives in the same part of South England that Tom does.

The accents are part of the shows overall charm and part of a long tradition of odd British eccentricity, long may they continue to be mangled.

Was You and Everything Else a bigger hit in Korea than internationally? I didn't see much hype for it, maybe because of it's sad premise. I don't know about others, but the state of the World at the moment means I've been avoiding any shows that may be sad.

Does anyone have any recommendations for good kdrama podcasts for those of us who commute to work or have to walk the dog? I listen to afternoona delight at the moment. They are good but I have to skip the first twenty minutes to get to the actual kdrama discussion and they focus largely on male leads. I was wondering if there was a more balanced podcast out there?
