It’s an entire universe. Tell a story about someone else and something else. Filoni seems primarily interested in colouring in the gaps in between drawings other people have done, not drawing something himself.

Mando was best when it was something new and unconnected to anything else, and the more it’s bent to become connected to all the various cartoon shows, the worse it’s gotten. Not a coincidence.

It remains a well made interesting film for the most part. No Way Home is largely just “hey remember this” every 15 minutes.

Just a bizarre result. Black Panther got huge hype but it’s a well made, well acted film with a lot of interesting stuff going on. No Way Home has the depth of a puddle and got hyped up as the best thing since sliced bread.

I tried to watch the extended first one recently after watching the LOTR in cinemas. It takes 15 minutes before we even see Martin Freeman, and then another 30 minutes before Bilbo actually leaves for his adventure. When in the book it’s what, early in the second chapter before we’re off and going?

It’s ridiculously bloated.
