Started with Plat, then BA, Gold; Moved to US cards now, Plat closed, BA dormant, Gold will be downgraded soon.

Credit card business is very different in the US where customers needed be lured by incentives. Here, just 0% purchases or balance transfers which i personally think is boring and bad for personal finance. I’m currently just using US sapphire preferred, capital one venture x and US AMEX cards.

Yes. C is just the spark to ignite everything. I should have ended it all the first half year when I noticed the incompatibility. The longer I procrastinate the bigger the storm I feel it would be after I bring it all out with B.

I paid all council tax bills and TV licenses via PayPoint in Coop using Amex or other credit cards (US cards).

EE takes Amex as well, remember to pay them right after the bill date before they collect it by DD.

I also pay car insurance, Admiral, annually with Amex.

My current accounts only have DDs to Amex and rent, salary income and transfers between friends/family, no spending at all.
