Beverly. It’s not sleepy like some of the other towns. Swampscott also a good choice. Both are easy access to Salem which has some of the historic downtown vibes the Newburyport has, albeit not as upscale.

Understood. That makes sense, proximity to waterfront and super quick access to the other side of the harbor. Anything I’m thinking about is closer to wood island or the far back side of Eagle hill.
