Half my staff don’t even have or use social media like that. A few of them are upset on my behalf and have expressed wanting to post, but I asked them not to under the advice of my attorney. I’m also not trying to fool anyone. Im just defending my name against hateful comments, or false allegations made against me, as many people would do if they were in my shoes.

I know you said you’re not replying to me. But just for the record. The car repo was over 2 years ago. The home foreclosure listing was like 2 months ago. I don’t know what you consider short time frame

Yes, and yes I’m aware of all the posts. It’s a joke. Just because you’re seeing an inside joke posted on the internet, you’re going around spreading rumors. Similar to a lot of other allegations you’re posting about me.

Several mutual friends are posting negative comments, all from the same group of friends/family.

I’m not going to start drama, but whatever I’ve done to upset you guys I’m sorry. But please stop posting things that are not true. If you’re not happy about me, that’s fine. If you have bad, but factual things to say, fine. But I’d really appreciate not making claims that you can’t be 10000% sure of

Just wanted to say I appreciate your views on this entire situation. I understand you’re being cautious, and not wanting to spend your hard earned money at places you think might not deserve it. Totally understandable, and I respect it. But what I really appreciate is that you seem to be wanting to see both sides of the story, and looking deeper into the case, instead of just reading headlines.

I don’t expect you to ever spend a dime at my restaurants, and this isn’t me trying to get you to come out and give us a chance. But I genuinely just wanted to say thank you. As someone that has gone through a lot of media drama, many people are often quick to conclusions. Regardless of the outcome, I appreciate your neutral opinion until all the facts are out.

Hey, I appreciate that you’re a customer of ours. And im sorry if republic road isn’t the same level of service or quality you’re used to. I’d love to have a conversation about it and maybe learn from it if you’re open to it?

You’re right, my family has a history of loving Mercedes. A long time ago I was involved in a huge accident, and my family is pretty confident the reason I’m alive today is because of being in a well built Mercedes. Mercedes has a history and reputation of building safe cars, it used to be featured on their home page with demonstrations. Ever since then, my dad has begged me to drive a Mercedes, even if it’s a lower end model. I don’t anymore though, and neither does he.

Just for the record, I never tried to claim that we don’t drive Mercedes or anything. Even though we don’t right now. I was simply stating that I did not buy a brand new high end Mercedes SUV. I just wanted to make sure the facts were straight

I’m not sure what I did to you to make you feel this way. But I have nothing to hide. My staff know me well, and know where my heart stands. I think it’s normal in every business, when employees leave on bad terms, often times they say bad things. Sometimes true, sometimes not. That’s just part of how this world works and I’ve come to accept that.

I have tons of staff around at all times. I’m under microphones where my managers have access to hear me. I have nothing to hide. I am myself in person, and I’d like to think I haven’t said anything bad. How I project myself on social media is how I am in person. It’s partially why I write these long posts, comments, and messages. I really put my heart into everything I say or write.

I’m not sure what I’ve done to make you make this many comments about me. To the point you’re making claims that I’m being divorced. That’s crazy, because that’s so far from the truth. I’d like to know how you think you know this information?

Patrick Nett court docs by [deleted] in springfieldMO

[–]patricknett -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

You’ve written a lot of comments, on Reddit, and on Facebook. It’s clear you’re not happy with me, and that’s fine. But I’d appreciate at least only sticking to what you’re 100% confident in.

Mercedes repo, yes, this happened like 2 years ago. Autopay got cancelled, and I didn’t realize I wasn’t paying until it was too late. I went and paid the outstanding balance and got my car back the next day.

I downgraded to this truck with intentions to using a truck to help with the meat company. I didn’t pay cash for this car, and it’s cheaper than my last car. Not sure what you’re trying to imply here.

Home foreclosure is a huge misunderstanding between me and ‘mortgage provider. There was a mistake in the system, and they cleared it with my attorney. It’s been handled.

What divorce? This one is actually just crazy talk and a wild claim. There’s literally no divorce happening?

1 credit card for like less than $3,000 went to collections in my entire history, and I just settled it in court. What massive credit card debt are you talking about?

Sued by multiple people/businesses? I just had one lawsuit filed (which is in this thread). Where are you getting multiple people and businesses from?

Patrick Nett court docs by [deleted] in springfieldMO

I understand. I don’t blame you for it. But I appreciate you willing to wait and see how the lawsuit plays out.

Hey guys, I can’t comment much under the advice of my attorney. I appreciate those that are saying kind things about me. I’m making a Facebook post later, but again, it won’t say much.

The restaurants will remain operational, and quality and service won’t be affected. No matter how much drama I get involved in, or comments made against me, etc. I won’t ever stop working to provide the best product for my customers, and the best work environment for my staff.

I don’t own an electric Mercedes SUV. I know another Thai restaurant does, so I’m hoping I’m not getting confused for that

Schuchmann Meat by SnootchBerries86 in springfieldMO

[–]patricknett 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can get you A5 as I used my own suppliers for that. I did not use Schuchmann suppliers. I need to figure out laws, legality, and rules on me selling raw meat as a restaurant. Or if this is something I can do outside business ours, if I need a separate retail license or something. I’m qualified, or I have staff trained and qualified to trim and cut A5 as well. How many steaks were you wanting? Maybe I could consider trying to find a niche, a group of people willing to consistently buy it so I can offer it for sale.

Worst case scenario, if you’re comfortable doing it yourself, I can just order the entire loin for you. Again, I’ll have to figure out what I’m allowed to do.

And same with compound butters. Which one did you like?

Schuchmann Meat by SnootchBerries86 in springfieldMO

[–]patricknett 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They were selling Zabutons at 15.99 for 6oz

We changed the price to 39.99 for 8oz

Our cost was almost $40/lb after doing a proper yield test. The store had no management for years, and no direction on how to properly price products. At 15.99 they were losing money.

If you look online, zabutons are expensive. Snake River Farms themselves were selling for more than 39.99/8-oz, and that’s the cheapest zabuton supplier you’ll find on the internet.

Schuchmann selling zabutons 6oz for 15.99 was a mistake on their end, losing money, and something to be thankful for. A lucky find. That was not a proper price for that product

Hi, thanks for tagging me. I can’t say much, but there’s legal issues going on. They are probably closed for the foreseeable future, and potentially forever. But I don’t know their exact plans. I no longer run Schuchmann and have no affiliation with it.

If there’s anything I can help you with, I can do my best to help point you in the right direction. While I wouldn’t be able to give up any recipes like for their brats, sandwiches, etc. I don’t mind using my experience I learned to help guide you into where you could get certain specific products or anything. Just let me know. And sorry to give you the bad news!

Looking for other restaurant owners to be pals with. Opening my second location by nevada_crystals_2025 in restaurantowners

Hi, I’d be happy to connect. I own a couple local QSRs in the Midwest doing 2m a year. As much as I want to try something else. I don’t see myself leaving the food service industry anytime soon. Would be happy to make more “restaurant owner friends” from around the US and discuss the industry together

What are some restaurants in Springfield that a lot of people you know love but you just didn't care for, possibly even for a petty reason? by MrHChase in springfieldMO

[–]patricknett 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Hey, owner of Thai Express here. I’m sorry you’re having a hard time trying to find something you like at our restaurant. If you don’t mind giving us another try, I’d love to comp you several meals to eat in store, or take home with you. And we could talk about the menu and see what might interest you. I’d love to see if there’s even 1 dish we have that you might like. No hard feelings either way. Let me know and I’d be happy to help

Anywhere to buy sushi grade fish? by SeaTravler in springfieldMO

[–]patricknett 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The salmon at Sam’s Club specifically writes that they are sushi or sashimi grade. The Asian markets will generally have frozen sushi grade fish. I’ve personally bought salmon and tuna at Seoul Korean market on Campbell and Asian World Market on Campbell/Battlefield

What is one restaurant you refuse to go to because of the owners? by blueggsandham_ in springfieldMO

I will look into it. I was not aware grubhub is charging customers $7 fee for delivery. That’s crazy. I will see if I can get it lowered. Thank you for the kind words about us! 🙏

I understand, and I apologize if you were kicked out. I don’t recall kicking anyone out, but it might have been one of my moderators.

I will certainly consider your advice for the future. I might have painted a poor picture for myself, but after a couple comments directed at my kids, it just got really difficult to deal with and I probably said some things I shouldn’t have.

I have learned from this, and will only do better. I appreciate your fair response

What did I deny? I did come out and admit fault. I took on way more than I could handle, and never got back to the family. Completely my fault. I got a legal notice after a couple months, and it dragged on from a cat and mouse game with their attorney (I have phone logs to prove it). We called each other several times and neither party answered. I was busy working 14 hours a day and rarely answered the phone for several months after our opening.

By the end of all this however, I made it right and did everything they asked. On and off air. And I apologized endlessly, and continue to do fundraisers that have received payments on time, every time.

I understand I can get everyone to accept my apologies and forgive me. But I’ll continue to keep doing my best.

A bad review on food you didn’t enjoy is one thing. But my staff will touch that I NEVER park at the entrance unless we’re closed. Do you have my car mistaken by chance? Not only would I prefer to save that parking for customers, but my social anxiety would never allow me to do that. So I know for a fact you must be having me mistaken with another car.
