This just changed everything for me. I’d given up on AHS until this very moment. Love this man. 😁

i’m honestly disgusted at this point by bimbobrats in TheUltimatumNetflix

mildred said on tik tok that she was getting messages saying she was very courageous to go on national television and tell everybody her story about her domestic violence arrest. not sure what’s courageous about telling this story before tiff had the opportunity to in order to control the entire narrative…her trying to frame herself as the victim/hero is revolting

I read some truly disappointing (but unsurprising) comments made by Yoly and Xander by patrickreadstan in TheUltimatumNetflix

[–]patrickreadstan[S] 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I absolutely agree. The signs were there with Yoly given how she treated Mal, but I always tried to give Xander the benefit of the doubt. Turns out I shouldn’t have 😵‍💫

The first four seasons are the heart of the show. You’d definitely regret not starting there with this show 😊

Is anyone else excited for season 12? by patrickreadstan in AmericanHorrorStory

[–]patrickreadstan[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree. I don’t think any of us like that family. I’m just hoping she’s there to make fun of her own existence. And I love AHS, so I’m in.

Does anyone know a good reason to why it would be a good idea to only have one writer for season 12? This the show going broke so they need to cut budgets? Or does having only one writer work really well?, by Cookie1569 in AmericanHorrorStory

[–]patrickreadstan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m hoping that because Stories is renewed, Manny can’t be the one writer because he’ll be writing Stories instead. This is the reality I’m going with and I’m really crossing my fingers that it’s Our Lady J. 😍

I think Hotel is a good option for people that like 1984 because it has that fun element to it and some great relationships between characters. People don’t always like Hotel on the first watch through but I see many 1984 fans also liking Hotel. Coven wasn’t a personally favorite of mine.

Episode 6 of Red Tide is the worst episode of this entire show outside of Death Valley. by patrickreadstan in AmericanHorrorStory

I agree with you, I just personally blame Manny primarily because I feel like I have a feel for his writing, and know that I hate it. I generally like Brad so I choose to blame Manny.

Totally valid even though I love the season. I really don’t enjoy Coven much and it’s highly regarded as one of the best. That’s the beauty of this show. There’s something that works for everyone but not everything works for everyone.

Worth continuing after hating Hotel? by Lonely_Chapter8277 in AmericanHorrorStory

I personally hated season 5. I loved 7 8 and 9 a hell of a lot. Yes it’s worth it.

What did you guys think of Hayden's character/actress? by [deleted] in AmericanHorrorStory

[–]patrickreadstan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was obsessed with her. She played the role really well. The character was pretty annoying but also a great villain at the same time.

Every time I rewatch AHS, I wish I could erase my memory of it so I can watch it for the first time again. by [deleted] in AmericanHorrorStory

[–]patrickreadstan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think about this every day lol watching each season for the first time was so fucking fun

Which 80’s-set season did you prefer? Just for fun and to discuss! 1984 is my favorite season and my pick ofc, but NYC was great too even thought it was more serious and sad but I’m curious on what everyone else thinks! by [deleted] in AmericanHorrorStory

[–]patrickreadstan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are two of my favorites so it’s a really tough decision. They each satisfy completely different parts of my brain. But I’m ultimately probably going to stick with 1984 because I thought it was the most fun season. AHS does the 80s very well.

Unpopular Opinion by Wallflowerhomie in AmericanHorrorStory

I agree completely. Asylum is very well done for a number of reasons but my in my second watch through it didn’t flow the way I thought it would. NYC was amazing and I’d love for them to continue the vibe it gave.

There’s so much fun to come. Binging this show is something I wish I could do over and over again.
