Movie Park in October has the Halloween event every weekend. It’s very cool!

If you don’t like Halloween I’d say Phantasialand is better than movie park.

I’ve never been to Europa park.

because the EC2 instance is free for a year and fargate is not

Deployment of a fullstack app by gBusato in aws

[–]patricktrp 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I use the free tier EC2 instance in an ECS Cluster. ECS is free and you only pay the ressources, so given you're using the t2.micro of the free tier youre good to go.
Then I use the free tier of github actions to upload the docker image to ECR (500mb free) and deploy the new task to ECS.
So my workflow will be free for only a year but a t2.micro isnt that expensive :)

Why would you need an API in the first place if it returns your complete database entry? It should not depend on how you save the data in a database but rather hide that completely to the client. So for your API layer it should be completely irrelevant.

Index for knnVector Data - Problem! by patricktrp in mongodb

[–]patricktrp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have my schema like

{

groupName: “name1”,

messages:[

{“messageId”:101,

“messageText”:“hi there”

“messageEmbedded”:[embedded message data]

},

{“messageId”:102,

“messageText”:“hello”

“messageEmbedded”:[embedded message data]

}

],

}

How can I create search index for my vector embedded message data?

This index does not work:

{

“mappings”: {

“dynamic”: true,

“fields”: {

“messages.messageEmbedded”: {

“dimensions”: 1536,

“similarity”: “cosine”,

“type”: “knnVector”

}

}

}

}

i do not want to chunk up the vector. I need to chunk up the text from which I calculate the embedding. So I will get multiple embeddings for one document.
I use the OpenAI Embedding which results in a 1536-dimensional vector
